That's actually a condition called hyperesthesia. In some cats it's just cute, but in ones like mine, he'll catch his tail and bite it enough to draw blood if he doesn't get his medication. It's due to a nerve disorder where he has tiny seizures resulting in twitching on his back and skin. To him it feels like someone is poking him, then he turns around and sees his tail and figures it's his F-ING TAIL! MUST KILL TAIL! It's sometimes called 'rippling skin syndrome' because that's what it looks like before he tries to catch his tail. Easily treatable with meds that don't have a long term negative effect. This has been my PSA for the day

My cat has passed away but he loved my hair so much that he would get excited and start to drool as he pawed at the back of my head burying himself in a nest of hair.

When I was a kid, I had a kitty who did that, too. He was the most loving cat. My mom once dated a man who shaved his head and he hated him. 😂

My cat loves youtube from android phone. Whenever I run any youtube video on my phone, she is with me as fast as possible, cuddling like there is no tomorrow.
