Can You Guess The Music Icons On These Rothko Paintings?

Mark Rothko is one of my favorite artists. His color field paintings really inspire me in so many ways. I associate them to various things like to human emotions, music, fashion, etc. For this project, I (blasphemously) inserted the silhouettes of some iconic popstars to Rothko’s colorful paintings. The juxtapositions resembles the interplay of lights and shadows in a concert stage.
