American artist Nina Katchadourian creates witty poetry from the spines of different books stacked in a way so that their titles form coherent phrases. Looks like a great way to spend your break in the library, doesn’t it?

The artist says that’s exactly how the idea dawned on her: “You know how when you’re in a library and you walk along the stacks of books and turn your head to the side and read the titles? I thought it would be amazing if accidentally the titles formed a sentence, and then I realized I could make that happen.”
