Biker Saves Badly Burned Kitten, Continues Cross-Country Trip With Him
32-year-old biker and sheetmetal worker Pat Doody recently rescued a kitten while riding cross country from Nevada to New Jersey. The South Jersey resident and early Volkswagen fan found the kitten at a gas station and named it “Party Cat.” The cat now lives with Doody and has seen a vet.
“I was at this truck stop getting gas, and this little guy just needed help,” he told Revzilla. “He was pretty badly burned, so I picked him up and tucked him inside my vest. We’re feeding him regularly now, so he’s doing better, even though he’s sort of living on the road until we get home.”

This is the best story! Tough biker saves a tiny, helpless, burned kitten. You know bikers have always been the people who extend themselves to those in need at inconvenient times more than any other people in society. This just elevates my respect and love for you guys and gals all the more. Set up a blog please so we can follow Party Kitty there and on Facebook - he hit the kitty lottery! <3

Party Cat looks just like my Garfield that I also rescued when he was 1 month old. His mum refused to feed him and threw him out of their house. So I bottle fed him. He's 14 months now and doing well.

I love this..Make sure when he gets older he wears a harness so he doesn't end up falling off the bike or using into the street. Thank you for loving him..he is precious.

Reminds me of Bob the Cat. He saved the writer's life, gave him a reason to live and a friend for life. Eventually the panhandling author wrote about Bob. Passersby gave more money, and one lady made Bob a little sweater for the winter. I love cats; my family loves cats. There is nothing like a soft little purring friend.

Awesome. Of all the horror I read regarding animal cruelty, it is so heart warming to read such a great story. Party cat is a very lucky kitty, he inherited an awesome daddy and has a great home set for life by the looks of things. With possible road trips in future :) A person's true colors show by the way they treat animals. God bless you kind soul for helping this little creature. Wishing you both many happy days together.
