How can you display your dissatisfaction about the quality of life, when nobody's listening to you? Grab a sister, a protest sign and go out in the streets! That's exactly what the women in Washington, D.C. did to show their disapproval with current politics in their anti-Trump protest. While the Women's March was initially centered around Washington, it soon became a record-breaking worldwide protest to promote gender equality, LGBTQ rights and equal rights for all human beings.
There were 408 marches reported in the U.S. and 168 in other countries. It is estimated that the march drew around 500,000 to D.C. alone, and 2.9 million people in the U.S. Actually, there were so many people protesting with their snarky yet funny posters, that stores were running out of cardboard.
"The Women’s March on Washington will send a bold message to our new government on their first day in office, and to the world that women's equality is human equality," says their official website. The message was loud and clear as you can see from the funny signs below.

i crying because i so tired of see people with such retrogade ideas , i come from a country where women grow and told that you had to please the man that is in your life (father, brother and in the end husband) because that is your responsibility as a " woman " i always thought that it was only in my country then i move to usa and i see that in this country discrimination and hate towards women is even worst.

Seeing so many older women at these marches is both thrilling and sad at the same time. It's great that they still go out and support all of us; I love that very much. But it's also sad that they STILL have to fight the very same fight to this very day.

I mean I understand the problem with global warming, but the only things we're hurting are ourselves, other animals are used to world changes, and adapt to it or die. A few people can't read the sign or understand the backstory, so here's an explanation. Sir Ian McKellen (aka Gandolf or Magneto) is carrying a sign with Captain Jean Luc Picard (i.e. Patrick Stewart) of the Star Trek Next Generation doing a facepalm, which is a rather famous meme. In real life, Ian and Patrick are best of friends. This "no words" sign is a brilliantly simple message and also brings his best friend with him during the march. I hope this helps.

What makes/made America great?! We do not all agree on everything. We speak and act to our values and beliefs because we believe in them. When people feel differently than we do, we often give their perspective a chance. If we still disagree, we do not attack or lie. If someone is in danger, we let the proper authorities have a chance and keep people safe! We accept that we have differences, learn from each other, and plan to go forward in respect. We are not always successful with our plans. When things do not work out as we had hoped, we reflect. Reflection does not involve name calling, yelling, destruction of property, or force. America is in trouble. We need our freedoms more than ever. We need a land of practiced temperament, respect for differences, and unyielding support for the basic needs of our fellow men and women. We need hope.

Ok let's judge his actions... He owned a school which defrauded people, he claims he did nothing wrong, yet settles the lawsuit for 25 million. He has been accused of sexual assault and he has bragged about committing sexual assault. His wife is an immigrant who was working illegally in this country until marrying Trump. He is openly racist and helped fuel the bogus birther movement. He has an amazingly thin skin and is quick tempered to a fault. He has filed bankruptcy 4 times, he inherited his wealth and actually did a horrible job managing it. Now let's judge his actions in the first few days in office. He has started the ball rolling on repealing the ACA with no replacement in mind, he has stopped aid to poor countries that need our help, and vowed to re-start the Dakota Access Pipeline and Keystone. His end goal will be to privatize schools, healthcare and just about every program poor Americans rely on. All this leaves me with very little confidence in the President.

Here goes the all feminists hate men idea again.There is a difference between being offended by every little thing you think is directed toward you,or "hyper-offended", and understanding the reasoning behind why someone is treating you a certain way.yes, according to law men and women are supposed to have equal rights, but that doesn't mean people always obey the law, bias and stereotypes can always cloud a persons reasoning if they allow it.saying everyone is treated equally is like saying stereotypes and hatred don't exist and that people don't act on them.Also not many people would shun you for your opinion, as many don't really understand what problems women in particular face in our society and culture, they just blame it on misandry I suppose.
