The characters are classic, even having aged through the years. I was a kid when Star Wars came out in the 70's and back then, we all went to the theater to see it. I'm just not a fan anymore, but I'm glad the series kept going for those who are.

It's makeup. You'd be surprised how much someone can transform their face by creating different shadows and lines. Sure, she has body paint on for the outfit, but the Angelina Jolie look is created by talented makeup.

This is makeup/body painting. no filter, no actual "painting" like a framed type painting. Kay Pike is pretty famous for doing this type of thing.
