This is actually a jerk move. I often used the clock as a way to make sure that I didn’t spend too much time on a given part of the exam. Blocking the clock means students can’t manage their time.

Hmm. Hope it wasn't math. So many changes. I was a teacher a lifetime ago and my daughter is just 28. A few weeks ago I was trying to help my 7 year old grandson with his math homework and was stumped. Didn't understand it at all so told my daughter that she needed to help him with it. She was also confused. Then my 9 year old grandson helped his brother with the problem. He understood but we didn't lol. Oh and it only took him a few seconds to explain and he got a perfect score on his math homework. My daughter and I were soo embarrassed 🧐
