It's for respect. Great anime films are not just Miyazaki's (or Ghibli's). Wolf Children is one of the example. Ignorance like this is one of reason why Makoto Shinkai got fed up and tell people to stop watching his film.

That is to say, literally everyone should care that Wolf Children is not made by Ghibli. Rules are Rules, otherwise we're allowed to add whatever garbage we want (Wolf Children is not garbage, but why should we make exceptions)

Because it's distinctions like this that separate the Ghibli's from the Boku No Pico's.

I care. The article should have stated these are food from successful Japanese animated films, or something like that. Accuracy is important.

Also Wolf children are a bit more creepy than Miyazaki... especially because of zoophilia... From this artist Bakemono no ko (The boy and the beast) is great, but also darker than Miyazakis stories...
