Flowers have the most alluring smell, and not only to the impressionable bees. We have made a list of photos that show animals enjoying a whiff or two from a petal or bloom. Kittens, nature's cuddliest critters, look even better when they're enjoying the sweet scents of flowers. Same goes for bunnies!
Flowers use scent to attract various small critters to carry around their pollen and help them reproduce. Some plants will take any comers, while other have developed an almost symbiotic relationship which certain species. As far as I know, no flower depends exclusively on kittens… yet.

I HAVE LOVED THIS PICTURE FROM THE MOMENT I STUMBLED UPON IT. IT'S THE FIRST TIME I SAW WITH MY OWN EYES, THAT ANIMALS DO TAKE TIME TO SMELL THE BEAUTY OF A FLOWER!!!!!!!!

I have poppies flowering in my garden in January 2016, There is something not quite right with the weather Field mouse would not last long in my garden with the cats that are about, but this one is cute.

I had a huge Bearded Dragon on my front screen door the other day. I was tempted to go out and grab him and call him Fluffy and dress him in different clothes every day. Then my stupid cat spotted it and it bolted :( So now I call him Fluffy the Pet That Never Was. Fluffy-the...de2bee.jpg

That piggy isn't smelling the flower!! They love to eat dandelions...especially the greens. It's their favourite food :-)

Never ever seen this. I wonder if something has been put on the flower to attract the animals. Had wildlife all my 70 years and never happened near me.

Nope, animals do love flowers. My cat would sniff flowers and eat them if she has a chance. Just pay more attention and you will see animals are capable of a lot.

I'm reminded of the book called "Everything I know I learned from My Cat." One piece of advice was that sometimes you have to stop and eat the roses.

My elderly cat Smudge was a great lover of plants. All the flowers would be inspected as they came into bloom, and she so carefully jumped over them or walked round them to avoid damage.
