These scary animals are not zombies. For most creatures of the animal kingdom, even the fiercest carnivore, the calories of a sweet berry might be too tasty to resist. The strawberries and raspberries pictured here are safe for most of these scary monsters to chomp.
If you have berries or fruits in your backyard and find some funny animals acting strangely in the autumn or early winter, they might be drunk! Alcohol forms in berries and fruits as they ferment with the first frosts and animals that eat them have been known to get a little tipsy.
I found these images of animals eating berries to be terrifying. The sharp teeth and the red of the berries make these fluffy horror movie characters seem like they've just been drinking blood. Actually box turtles are a kind of terrapin. Semi aquatic so can swim. This is a tortoise but I don't know what breed
