‘Analog Memory Desk’ Uses 1,100-Yard Roll Of Paper To Save Your Every Note
MCAD student Kirsten Camara is obsessed with how we remember the past, so she created a table that has a kilometer of blank paper to record everything you need.
When the desktop is covered in notes, scribbles and drawings, you just turn the handles and voilà – you have a blank analog tabletop again!
The desk is not available for purchase, but the blueprints were released with a Creative Commons license, so you are free to build it on your own! What do you think – could you use a table like this for work or play?

Like a white board? I guess that would save a lot of paper!

Good design, but I would suggest it needs something like a tool to cut and re-connect the paper, similar how they cut movies in the past.
it could easily have two pegs added to hang your scissors and roll of tape maybe?

I think this is great! in interior design when youre working on a project we use TONS of trash paper. this would be an easy way to look back at the evolution of the project without having to rummage through hundreds of paper scraps!
Neat! But I wonder how you`d FIND a note you wrote down when you really wanted the info!
Great idea plus- - those who don't like it , JEALOUS???? just a thought-
Because someone doesn't agree with something does not automatically mean they are jealous that concept is stupid. Maybe they love trees?
Load More Replies...Agreed! Even if it's recycled paper I can think of a better use for it!
