This Engineer Is An Actual Wall Expert And She Just Destroyed Trump’s Wall Proposal In One Post
Debates across the U.S over President Trump’s border wall finally came to a head in December, resulting in the longest government shutdown in U.S history. And while the partisan issue has mostly swirled around ethical and economic issues, engineer and court-accepted ‘wall expert’, Amy Patrick has entered the ring with a different point – a structural one.

In a detailed Facebook post gone viral, Patrick laid out from an engineering perspective why the wall is “a disaster of numerous types waiting to happen.” No matter what side of the aisle you fall on, you can’t help but realize that if anyone knows what they are talking about on this issue she’s that person. Such is also seen in the preparation for severe weather events, where understanding the limitations and failings of constructed barriers plays a vital role.

The shutdown isn't about the wall anymore. It's a dementing megalomaniac acting like a petty spoiled brat to get his way. His illusions of grandeur make him think that he's an omnipotent emperor, while in fact he's just being a revengefull dictator.

Hey! Do not bereave people who do not like complicated realities of simply solutions with no apparent side-effects! It is just not fair that we should not assume that a complex socio-economic problem is not solvable by a few tons of concrete! And please stop with all these ramifications, who cares for negative impact on our own lives if we can get a symbol of freedom and strength! A wall! Well..., uhm..., oh, nevermind.

How can the guy say that flooding is only possible in a SMALL AMOUT? Half the damn border is the Rio Grand RIVER. A RIVER!! THAT"s about half the size of the entire boarder! You ever try to build a wall IN A RIVER? You can't. which means you have to either invade mexico and steal their land, or encroach on US taxpayer land AND sacred Native American land. You want to kick Native Americans off their land again? You want to tell the us taxpayer your taking his land and giving some to mexico because you have to forfeit space for this wall? You're gonna tell that to the Texans that they have to give their property to mexico? Good luck with that when/if the construction crew shows up on their lawn in the open and carry state.

Don Spencer needs to spend some time in the south. He said "flash flood areas comprise a small percentage of the area being addressed"...ever been here after a hurricane? Drainage on the scale that we would need post hurricane would not happen if there was a wall in place. And as for the Environmental Site Assessment that she suggested...why do you think Donnie defunded the EPA.....

Very interesting read and I had no idea such specialist existed! Pretty darn cool if you ask me! I think however that TrumpieDumpie just wants to deflect all attention away from the Mueller investigation... He is just so darn selfish... I cannot wait until this all exploses in his nasty face!!!

Agreed. It would have been wiser to push for infrastructure replacement/repairs.. probably that would have given him close to 90% rating..Also would have benefited most of the citizens/taxpayers.
