She's blind she doesn't see and may know that she's Caucasian. So she has dealt with stereotypes. As well she may not have named the dog. That came from the family who does puppy training. Her guide dog was trained about one year to around a year and a half after it was born.

Ok, I complain about the whole ASL nonsense as much as the next non-idiot. But who the hell pretends to be blind to snuggle a dog on a bus? All they have to do is claim the dog makes them calm and add a f*** you to everyone with an allergy that could be life threatening and the whole world let's them do whatever they want. Why would they go to all that trouble?

This is a massive issue with technology that has been developed by white people for white people. When I want to take a picture of my family, my phone generally can't even recognize that there are faces on the screen (they are black). Never mind being able to differentiate between non-white people. There is a lot of work needing to be done by technologists of all nations to get this problem fixed.
