A Romanian Ex-It Teacher Creates Funny And Catchy Transylvanian Stories To Raise Awareness On Online Security Tools
Raising awareness on the online threats lurking at the Internet’s corners was never an easy task. Plus, there are online tools pushed on the market on a daily basis, and staying up to date with the latest tech news became harder for internet users.
However, there are a handful of suitable options people can trust when it comes to their online privacy.
One of these tools is none other than the VPN, that sticks around for quite a while now.
As it’s important to use security tools while going online, and especially when you use public Wi-Fi, an ex-IT teacher found out an out-of-the-box way to raise awareness on the benefits a VPN brings.
The Romanian ex-teacher took advantage of the fact that he lives in Transylvania, so he created Dracula-related characters (Vlad – from Vlad the Impaler – the story narrator, and a complete bat colony), presenting the VPN from a whole different perspective.
So, to learn what a VPN app is, you will first need to learn how a cute and innocent vampire-bat creates an illegal Chocolate Traffic Network, in Castlevania.
Moreover, Transylvania is filled with picturesque places, fortresses, and stylish castles with tall windows. Vlad, the main character in the project lives in such a castle and he had a windows “situation”. The whole story that has a happy ending is described in a hooky article on how to use a VPN on Windows.
In the end, let’s be honest, who doesn’t love cheesy movies on Saturday nights? Imagine the one that puts in the spotlight two innocent bats, sharing the finest Bat-gian chocolate, in a comprehensive article about what a VPN server is.
