Meet Texas native Julie H., also known as The Burning Lotus – a 56-year-old model who has been taking provocative pictures, celebrating the sex appeal, of herself for a while now.
“I posted my images initially as a dare to myself ― again, an affirmation of existence,” Julie said. But after posting a side picture of herself holding up her black bra and showing the full body tattoo, Julie became pretty popular online. “The ‘senior ink’ image caught fire in a random way that still confuses and overwhelms me,” she said. Ever since Julie’s Tumblr audience has been growing and she now has over 92k followers that admire her piercings and tattoos and the way she portrays herself. She was even voted #3 in Bored Panda’s list of tattooed elderly people. An older woman can be sexy no matter what her age is, and Julie definitely proves so! You can see Julie’s photos below.

Kudos to her for feeling confident in her skin. However, sexy comes in many different ways, and you don't necessarily have to be naked, and posing "provocatively" to be sexy. Sometimes sexy can be a look in the eye, eloquent speech, sex appeal (not to be misconstrued with wardrobe), etc. Sexy comes in many different forms and many different ages.

I'm an RN who has had hundreds of older both men & women with extensive tattooing. The looser your skin gets with the aging process, the less these tattoos looks like works of art . Folds of skin or adipose tissue breaks up the designs , &, if a tattoo was poorly done to begin with, the designs become blurred & muddy. Julie H. has good quality tattoos. I'm sure I will be voted down. That's O.K.

Because first and foremost...it shows you have pride in yourself ...I'm a 46 yr old hottest and I'll keep it that way. ...my husband is a 52 year old hottest and I like him that way.....we do it for ourselves and each other.

The reason that shes remarkable is that women her age are supposed to disappear into tje background and not be wanton and sexually aggressive and confident. She clearly is abd thats great,that's what Ill be doing at that age too.I dont understand why women who dont want to sexualize themselves hate on women who do. If you feel confident, appreciated, sexy & loved exactly how you are (however that may be)thats beautiful,but I dont grasp what causes you to feel as if her being acknowledged as beautiful somehow negates that you are equally so, in your own way.I think she's beautiful because she's not afraid to show off her confidence in her sexuality.I find this quality attractive in all sexes and genders. This country is way too repressed and does far too much shaming of sexuality. One person's brazeness doesn't mean that you also must be brazen in order to be perceived as sexy. Are you so insecure? Really? Some of you commented just to say that you don't like tattoos ? Awesome.
