Ganesh Chaturthi or call it Vinayaka Chaturthi is widly celebrated in India. It is a den day festival, which falls in the month of Aug or Sept. People installs idols of Lord Ganesha made up of caly in their homes or in pandals.

The festival ends on the tenth day, where all these idols are carried down for with dhol taasha, music and group chanting. After this these idols are immersed in nearby water source including ocean or river, where the clay idols dissolves.
