This is the TRUE ending of Cinderella.... they lived happily ever after!
Your wedding day is not the end of the story - it's the beginning!
Load More Replies...To get it at the exact moment that the sun is between them... that is the Decisive Moment
This is amazing, simple as that! The colors, the composition, dynamic silhouettes and the sun in between is beautiful.
I see the hands of a elderly grandmother hugging a young bride, which is touching.
I don't think it is a young bride, I think its her daughter and I think she is so happy for her, maybe a second marriage or maybe just finally finding that true love.
Load More Replies...Love this, I would like to see more creative shots of grandparents and parents getting captured as it is a big and emotional day for them too :)
It's an elderly woman marrying another elderly woman. Times have changed, people.
I always love to see a Javanese wedding, unique and sacral, yet very beautiful :)
Look closely, the man has the woman by the wrist and is pulling her towards him with a smirky open mouthed grin...does NOT look touching to me.
I'm wishing I could see another pic with the complete view of the dress! It's beautiful
http://www.daniloandsharon.com/ - here are more pictures with the couple (and the dress).
Load More Replies...The bride looks a little sad on this one to me, like she's being comforted. I'm probably over thinking things, but I imagine maybe she's missing someone on their special day, and they wanted a bit of time alone. Beautiful photo.
There's something so endearing and beautiful about this embrace.
I LOVE the idea of using sparklers. I've never seen them used for a wedding before now. Unique idea for a night time event!
It is a beautiful idea but not unique or original. In fact, my husband and I had them at our wedding, as did my best friend.
Load More Replies...I can see why people would like that. But for me, it's too glammy, ritzy and glitzy. It lhas a staged feel to it. And the bride looks tense or surprised (or maybe it's the highly comfortable footgear she's wearing ;) )
We used them at my very rustic wedding. All in the decor I think
Load More Replies...I know it most probably is a genuine shot, but this being 2017, my brain jumps automatically to" Photoshop"! I hope the couple are doing OK. They are facing two different directions in this photo :)
I thought Photoshop too. Especially after all the nifty little "tricks" Bored Panda has taught us about photo manipulation!
Load More Replies...Make sure that getting married was THE ONLY PLUNGE you take.......please step back!
It really looks like photoshopped :/ Don't play with our feelings, or when you do do it properly so don't notice badly cropped photos.
This is real. Its in Queenstown New Zealand. There is a little ridge you can stand on that looks towards the mountain ranges. Google It.
Load More Replies...Many photographers hire models to do a stylized "wedding" shoot. It could be that.
I can't find the right words to do describe how touching and beautiful this is.
I love the fact that we don't know if two people just got married or if it's best friends! Either way it's a strong enough bond to embrace like that!
It's 2017, some men actually do that now. Oh, and we also got something called internet, welcome to the future.
Load More Replies...Agreed... if this was a professional photographer, it was done poorly
Load More Replies...Scottish Highlands barn dance, singing some braw tune in the Gaelic, to be sure...
Nice! But stick that hand out of the pocket (that's just me being European :D - we find it arrogant and condescending to keep your hand in a pocket while interacting with someone)
I'm from the U.S. and I'd have the same opinion as you. It's a rather pompous attitude and the photographer should have caught it
Load More Replies...This is one of my favorites. It's so simple, but with the lighting had to be just right to pull it off.
I love this too! It's easy to create the "lighting" with photo shop or filters, I do it all the time for my photos. And a majority of our wedding photos were "touched up" and we got many different versions of lighting for the same photo.
Load More Replies...I think it should have been the other way around... the couple being the bigger focus and the magnificent windows would have still shown through with glory
I believe it's about style, not measures of his pockets
Load More Replies...It would have been so simple to have Photoshopped OUT the lights in the parking lot. I think it would have made for a better photo.
very bohemian and fun - love the joy and sweetness of their looks and how natural the flowers and her crown are for her dress and hair, and how nontraditional the dress is and colors are...wonder where this is?
(Documentary voice) "Notice how it's instinct right from the start to call the married female this common pet name. Fascinating..."
Load More Replies...In the mood for love or the corr's Hardest Day music video. This is nice anyway.
Me too :-) I do it in other moments too. It helps me to create a memory. Years later when I smell something similar I automatically recall the memory :-)
Load More Replies...I must admit I do find it unsettling - maybe that's the aim. It does look give off a negative feel, from the bride's perspective.
The composition and idea look fantastic. However, this does not strike me as a happy / healthy relationship with the current distance between the partners, especially the man who is facing away from her. Nevertheless, a great photo.
He makes her walk behind him? She's chosen to follow? This is an interesting photo, but it's got a violent subtext. Put a woman on a steel staircase dressed so she can't see where she's stepping?
Everything about this photo seems to be more about the lighting, composure, and architecture - about the photographer's skills, and not about the couple AT ALL. The groom blends in and is almost off the page, and the bride is hidden by the railing and you can't even see either of their faces. I am sure they love it, but it makes me cringe. And yes, I have a back story for this photo, as well!
Yes, it looks as thought she's been jilted. Aw. Lovely photo though. What I can see of the dress is stunning.
Load More Replies...I really hope they met on a bike tour or something with meaning, and not just trying to one-up everyone else. Hipster can be cool, but the term is fast becoming a pejorative...
Wow - he can jump pretty high. Fairly certain I'd have been kicked in the head by mistake.
Your comments tell me that you are an older traditionalist without much imagination. Nothing? At ll? Not that is it all white? That she is in a bridal gown? That you could say he is jumping for joy and that her trust of him is pretty phenomenal, considering that she could be hurt? That they wanted to memorialize their wedding day with something unusual, not just with all the other typical staged shots with family, bridal group, and friends? We don't know their story, and you sound pretty harsh for just five words...
Load More Replies...Sorry, but I've never understood why women run into the water wearing the most beautiful dress of their life.
Probably because they want to live one of the happiest day of their life in one of the most beautiful dress of their life, not just have it as a proof there was one. Who cares if it's damaged? They'll wear it only one day in their life, better have fun with it. Let it live fully, cry of happiness with it, danse and laught, and have fun, love and be loved in it. At the end of the day... it's just a dress.
Load More Replies...Reminds me of Khal Drago and Daenerys Targaryan - Game of Thrones...
I guess this is symbolic of something, but to me it foreshadows a bleak future for her.
I had the same thought the second i saw that abomination! Especially in a "shoe shot" like this one! For God's sake!!!
Load More Replies...It's a nice composition but in her shoes I'd be a touch worried about falling over going up and then down the aisle - they don't fit too well.
I'm probably gonna get hate for this.... but my (sincere) first thought was "What happened here.. did she just fart and now they're busting up?"
Load More Replies...I think he's enjoying the day!! Are they in a multi-storey car park?
I think she's missing her Mother who has passed away before the wedding. Her friends are supporting her as she takes a moment.
My take is that the hands belong to family or bridal party, or even the officiants (or her pastor and their spouse).... and they are praying for the bride before she starts her new life, and she sheds tears because she is so touched by their love and, you know, getting married is an emotional moment.
I wasn't too keen on this one at first, but looking back at it I wonder if it was a captured moment. If they are in a big city and walking over one of those air vents that blew her veil from her head and into the air. If that is the case then it is a great captured moment that may not mean much to us from the outside, but could be a fun memory for he couple.
This is the worst humblebrag I've ever seen. Whoever claims these are the best wedding pics of 2016 have terrible taste.
- a few , Yes ; overall , well i've seen better , though not too often ...
Load More Replies...What, where, how?? I like it but it puzzles me. In isolation it would be hard to know it was a wedding.
Urgh looks like shes holding her back, one last attempt to stop her.... :/
Am I the only one who doesn't find staged events and photo shoots "touching"?
Why they should be always touching? These are ceremonies and they might evoke variety of emotions, e.g. beauty, solemnity, etc. They mark the important date, these staged events. They are sincere.
Load More Replies...Some were actually dark and foreboding. What happened to happiness?
I think that there a lot of different emotions that go on during a wedding. For me, there were important moments of realizing that nothing in my life would ever be the same....and that is pretty heavy stuff. Moments of realizing that I would never visit with my mother alone again, that I would never go to such and such a place by myself again, etc. A wedding is more than just a big party. It is a ritual of transformation--two people are doing more than just connecting their life stories with each other's. They are also connecting their inner lives to each other's; and you leave the wedding a different person than you were before you got married. So these photos reflected some of this.
Load More Replies...I just hope that some pics were taken of the actual weddings. sometimes less is more.
Wedding-related shoots not actually always taken in weddings.
