As opposed to most western countries, people in places like Nepal, Bhutan, and Bangladesh live an outdoor life. Commerce, in similar fashion, happens on the streets or very close to it where most shops are literally ‘holes in the wall’.
There’s no better way to know the culture and its people than to roam the streets of any decent size city and observe its life. I photographed these images while roaming the streets of Nepal (Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Patan), Bhutan (Paro), and Bangladesh (Dhaka, Sreemangal).
The pictures were photographed entirely using GoPro cameras.
