“She was so adorable with big eyes and a sweet disposition,” Tanya told Barkpost. “We immediately knew this was the dog for us.” It didn’t take long before the sweet Nala was enjoying her freedom ride to her forever home with her new human siblings. They even captured her wide grin on a group selfie! “Nala is just bonkers over the kids,” said Humane Society Silicon Valley spokesperson Finnegan Dowling. “It’s like everything that’s right about pet adoption in one goofy selfie.”

The smiles haven’t stopped since. Nala has quickly adapted to her new environment. She enjoys nonstop snuggles and kisses, as well as hiking and going to dog parks. Her humans even carry bananas with them because it’s Nala’s favorite treat. Logan loves his new companion, too! “I feel in my heart that Nala is a very appreciative dog,” added Tanya. “And it makes me feel great that I made a huge difference in a little dog’s life.”
