I am a self-taught artist from India. I’ve been drawing since I was around 4 years old. I used to make cartoon sketches and similar kind of drawings.
About 2 or 3 years ago I started watching drawing tutorials and kept practicing. These pictures show how my drawing improved over the years. I have watched many videos on Youtube and drawings made by other artists. Many of them made me frustrated because I could’t draw as well as they did.
I compared my drawings to other professionals and noticed my mistakes. I also started uploading my artwork on some Facebook groups and got really helpful feedback. Aven though I need more years to learn and improve, my goal is to turn this hobby into a career.

Old man
This drawing was made using colored pencils. It took me about 5 hours to make it.
As we say, there is a curious child hiding in every old person.
Agony and peace
This drawing was made using colored pencils. It took me about 13 hours to make it. The most difficult part was getting the fur look right.
The left side represents power and agony and the right side represents peace and spirituality.
Misery
This drawing was made using colored pencils together with graphite pencils. It took me about 2 hours to make this drawing.
Sometimes, only crying shows how broken your heart is.
Vision
This drawing was made using colored pencils on toned paper. It took me about 3 hours. It was quiet difficult to get the iris to look right
Knight
I made this drawing using markers and colored pencils. It took me about 3.5 hours.
The drawing represents power.
