I Create Portraits On Porcelain

My name is Matthew Dorabiala. I am the current owner of my own Manchester-based design studio, student of 3D Design at Manchester School of Art and holder of Diploma in Graphic Design. I have a huge passion for product design and painting, and I find my inspiration in the beauty of nature, fascinating human psychology and the old masters achievements, in particular, the works of Caravaggio and Baroque artists.

This plate has been made to fulfill your artistic desires in new, special way. I chose porcelain because porcelain is one of the most unique materials in the world, and through centuries is called the “white gold”. Amazed by the mystery of the masterpiece “Girl with a Pearl Earring” by Johannes Vermeer I decided to create a collection of 100 portraits which will portray the mysteries of 100 Strangers hidden by their realistic portraits.
