Police Set Up A Camera To Find A Mountain Lion, But They Weren’t Prepared For What They Found Instead

After people reported seeing a mountain lion in Gardner Park, Kansas, police set up a couple of trail cameras to catch it. But they weren’t prepared for what they found. And neither were we. And now we’re never going to Kansas. Ever. Because while they certainly caught sight of a number of creatures, they just so happened to be the creatures of your nightmares! Check out the pictures below to see what we mean.

“We did not see a mountain lion,” read a post on the Gardner Police Department Facebook page. “We were however surprised by some of the images that the cameras did take. We have included a few of these images for your review. We now have another different concern. We are attempting to identify some of the wildlife and activity in these images.” Let them know if you recognize any of the species below…

When they reviewed the footage afterwards, they found a whole bunch of different wildlife. Like this skunk for instance

And a coyote

And this raccoon

But there was no sign of a mountain lion

Although they did find something scarier

Much scarier

Like this wolf in high heels

And this creepy gas mask guy

And whatever the hell this thing is
