Derrick Lin has fun at work using the materials he finds in the office. He creates super fun miniature scenes when he is "bored". He calls it "Miniature Office", and he brings in small characters to life to perform everyday tasks.
"I work in advertising and my workday is often very chaotic and unpredictable. While trying not to let the stress get the best of me, I decided to turn the mundane and often annoying little moments in my agency life into inspirations for something whimsical and magical," told Derrick in his previous post here on Bored Panda.

This reminds me of that wii game, the one where you slide around an iceberg to get points.
Love them, but seems like you have a bit too many frustrations and free time at work :)
When you have bad breath and you do not know it.... ahahahahahahaha GREAT!!!!
This one is simply lovely! It's got a warm, friendly, inviting feel to it. It needs more upvotes!
At ten, he realized that perhaps she wasn't going to meet him... but he gave her until midnight, just to be sure.
At first I thought the figurine was carrying a gun... changed the message of the image entirely... I wonder how he managed to balance it so well with such a tiny "plank..."
"Hey, Mac! Is that phone waterproof?" "Uh... I think so, why?" Answer coming in 10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5...

Is this for real? The numbers 4 and 5. Really? Who invents that? And what after you reach that goal? You can be sarcastic again? But I really love the picture. Mostly the irony :-)
The foreman wanted to be sure that they understood. But the Boss had all calls going to voice mail, and the box was full. Now what are we supposed to do?
I always just called them "hippie vans"... I was a weird child
Load More Replies...This is what happens at staff meetings when your supervisor doesn't supervise and the director is tone deaf.
Nope - citizen failure. It was supposed to say "Boo"
Load More Replies...These are great, but unless he's in an architect's office of some sort, I highly doubt he has model-building materials (people, trees, furniture, etc.) just lying around in the office. He must be rolling in the dough as they're pretty expensive, at least they are in my country.
Because everyone looked and acted as if it was just an ordinary day, the guards never realized the exodus had begun.
Wow! These are amazing, but "using the materials he finds in the office"? I've never known an office that just casually has a flock of penguins. a miniature marching band, a model railway and dozens of other interesing minis lying around! lol
He works in advertising, so it's possible. I bet they have things other offices dont. Or a 3D printer?
Load More Replies...Amazing. I want to work where he works because you can do that while you are still getting paid. Lol
