Thought-Provoking Photographs Of People Living Alone In The Wilderness
Despite the technological advances that we use every day to bring each other closer together, there are still some that choose to leave everything behind and live in total solitude. In his photo series ‘Escape,’ Russian photographer Danila Tkachenko traveled through Russia and Ukraine in search of hermits living in self-imposed exile, far away from any city or village.
Tkachenko’s work raises questions about what identity truly means when we are forced to live how society tells us to: “School, work, family – once in this cycle, you are a prisoner of your own position. You should be pragmatic and strong, or become an outcast or a lunatic. How to remain yourself in the midst of this?”

Very Brave. Hard, hard work, solitude, can be a blessing or a curse, living to the limits. Respect; much Respect to these people.
Looking into these hermits souls and energies I see that they truly are a bit, as body vibration, over the average body vibration of a person living in the city. Concerning the soul vibration on the other hand they are nothing special compared to an average person, just the guy with the fish in his hands has a soul vibration of 4.3 (chakra scale), so his soul is in 4D (D-dimension) compared to an average person's soul who's about 3.5D. So nature is good for the body primarily ... :)
The photographer has captured strong images of people making life choices outside the monetary system.
Those guys went to live in the wilderness to get away from people, then someone hunted them down to take photos. I can almost hear them thinking "GO!", "Is this the only way I can get peace again?" and "Omg how many other people are going to come to gawk at me after this?". You can see it in their eyes.
The ingenuity that is demonstrated is incredible. Wish the book wasn't $40 Euro, it would be interesting to see the stories behind photos.
