I think it is wonderful he has been taught to care for animals. I think it would be wise for parents to instruct on contacting shelter to see to it that the animals are healthy.

That's so sweet. However, the wording indicates that you let the cat roam freely outside. This is very dangerous for the cat. There are people out there who hate cats and don't hesitate to poison them, burn them alive or otherwise torture them before killing them. Free-roaming cats also kill thousands and thousands of birds every year. Please consider keeping your cat indoors or allow him outside only in a secure outdoor enclosure. Thank you, and bless you for giving this cat a home.

The cat looks quite content to sit and listen too. Maybe they could make a soft cushion or similar so it doesn't get cold and sore through the cold from the carpet and floor.

This photo reminds me of the time we took Haley and Zak to see the model trains at the station. Zak was only about 2 and was not tall enough to see the trains through the window. Nana and Grandpa had not noticed his plight, but his big sister did. She got down on all fours so Zak could stand on her back to see the toy trains. This Nana still gets choked up when I think of this.

A small amount of Peanut butter is used in shelters to help give the dogs medicine. You guys act like the dogs are eating 5 gallons each =/ Do something positive and go volunteer your time at your local shelter

There is a video of this online and she is just so sweet and in love with her cow. The mom videotaping saw how genuine it was and had restraint that many parents would struggle with.

Empathy is natural for small children. No doubt this wounded dinosaur toy is very disturbing to this small child. I have a six year old who would still very much find this injured toy disturbing so I can imagine how troubling that violence could be to a two year old.

I heard about a program like this. Kids who have trouble reading practice with shelter animals. It helps the animal and the child all at the same time. It is a beautiful thing.

I'm in my 70's and I only pray that if I have a choice of coming back or not, I'd love to be a cat in the next life, if there is one. Would love to come back as a kitty in the next life, if there is one. I wanna be a kitty in the next life I hope to be a kitty in the "next life"

Marie-ClaireDawson do you buy raw dog food or raw meat and donate it to shelters and if you actually do you buy 80lbs of it which is the same amount that this dear sweet boy gave?!? I in no way support Pedigree, but if a child or matter of fact anyone for that matter chooses to spend their savings their hard earned money to buy food for homeless shelter animals than keep your negative comments to yourself. Can you really be so uppity and snobbish that you turn your nose up to charity cause it's not good enough for you!! We need to raise up and praise these young ones because they are our future!! I pray that no one ever turns their nose up at you in your time of need! I pray God opens your eyes and heart to the real world, not just the privileged world you seem to come from.

The needle is only in the insertion kit. It is easily removed so I seriously doubt yhat she ever touched it. Kudos to the health csre provider who supported her sophisticated imagination play.
