Guy Brings ‘Emotional Support Duck’ On The Plane, Makes Everyone Feel Better

Passengers on a plane from Charlotte, North Carolina were slightly confused recently when one of their fellow travellers turned out to be a certified emotional support duck named Daniel. Confused soon turned to amused however when they saw him strolling down the aisle. Thanks to Daniel, everyone ended up feeling better, making it one of the most feel-good flights ever!

According to Mark Essinger, who delighted the internet with his live tweets from the plane, Daniel seemed pretty chilled out and bonded with everyone very easily. It was his first flight as a certified support duck and not only did he do a good job – he did it in style.

The birdie was wearing tiny red shoes to protect his feet and a favorite Captain America diaper.

The best part for Daniel was staring through the window, and even though his breed (Indian runner) can’t fly, we wonder whether he was dreaming about spreading his wings up in the sky. One thing is sure – Daniel’s gentle quacking and his calming presence made sure it was the happiest crowd the flight attendants had ever seen!

Sometimes the only thing you need in your life is an emotional support duck named Daniel – especially when you’re on an airplane!
