Tattooing Freckles On Your Face Is The New Beauty Craze, And They Look Surprisingly Beautiful
Ever looked in the mirror and thought, "Hey, I really want to cover my face with tattoo freckles?" No? Well, me neither, but as you can see from the pictures below, a lot of other people clearly have.
Freckle tattoos, otherwise known as "freckling", seem to be quite a big thing these days, and even though the idea of cosmetic tattooing isn't exactly new (eyebrow tattoos anybody?), people seem to like these tiny ink freckles because of their semi-permanent nature. Although they look quite obvious at first, they gradually fade to look more natural over the course of a few months, and they apparently disappear completely after about two years. What do you think? Some definitely looked better than others, not just cuz some were still new, but more about the placement...if it were my face, I think I'd like to make my own little dots for the artist to fill in...#just sayin'

This must be the first tattoo post on Bored Panda where negative comments are not downvoted. Normally, people stand up and say "It is their individualism", "respect their personal choice" etc. To be honest, these "10+ Typographic Tattoos" will also mostly fade into nothing readable within a few years, but criticising those would get yourself bashed.

The few that look realistic don´t suit the peopple. Freckles suit when if you get them naturally.

As someone with freckles naturally, this totally baffles me. Beautiful, clear skin, and you go and do this to yourself. Ridiculous.

I do not understand this trend. I can understand that having a tattoo is interesting and beautiful to look at, and yes, some of these do look pretty. But the biggest thing is: They are fake. Why does that matter? Well, freckles are natural, therefore the people who tattoo this on their face completely miss the point. Freckles are beautiful, "because" of the natural way it developed. Show more love for the facial skin which you already have. Another strange thing about these tattoos are that it's a "trend". Trends are temporary, a tattoo is permanent. Removal is possible, but it doesn't turn out nice all the time. If you want to try a tattoo out, try henna or jagua (for darker skins), since these are also temporary, just like a trend. If you want a permanent tattoo, choose wisely and choose from something you feel you really want to have on your skin, a thing that tells a part of your own story. The moment you choose something that is a trend, can be a thing you will regret later on.

I'm not so sure this is a trend. Like the "Glitter Beards" and other stories, I sometimes think that people are trying to start a trend on this site rather than show one. This could be nothing more than an advertisement for tattoo freckles offered by a tattoo artist.
