I have been volunteering in this animal shelter for a little less than two years now. I have fallen in love with our little protégés the moment I walked through the gate. All the members of teh shelter are dedicated to taking the best of care of our companions and giving them as much love and dedication as possible. In the summer there is at least one or two little pools in each park (made out of sand pools for children) but some of them prefer finding their own water source ah ha

A lot of our residents have been traumatized or wounded and part of our job is to help them making progress at trusting humans and feeling safe outside. All of this can only be accomplished with love

Képa was beaten and had received severe injuries when we rescued him. He is now a healthy, happy and playful old dog. He has such a kind heart that he doesn’t show the least aggressiveness towards humans despite all he has suffered by their hands
