These are the pictures from my first solo winter trip to the mountain Voutsikaki with sleeping outside in the snow. Altitude 2154 meters.
It has been over a year of me going to the mountains to photograph the night sky. I always liked the view from the top and this feeling that you feel when you’re above the world. The emotions are unique. Last year I really wanted to go to the mountains during winter, but I didn’t feel ready yet and later on I regretted the decision so this year I had to do it.
I got ready for a trip to the top of the mountain Voutsikaki. I walked about 5 hours with a 20kg backpack with me. When I reached the cliff it was almost night time. I was looking at the world beneath.The experience was unique and definitely worth all the work.
