Lure Hsu The Youngest Looking Old Person Shares Her Age-Defying Secrets
Lure Hsu is an interior designer and fashion blogger who stunned millions of people because of her youthful looks. Guess Lure Hsu’s age: 49!
Yet she looks like she’s in her 20s. She’s one of the young-looking old people who are blessed with great skin. But is genetics the only factor in her youthful looks?
In Lure Hsu’s case, age-defying genes run in the family. Lure’s two sisters, Sharon and Fayfaym, look like college students in their 20s. Not to mention their mother! She is a retired dancer who could easily be mistaken for their sister, but it turns out she is 69. Taiwanese media called these young-looking old people the family of frozen ages.

Is It Possible to Start Looking Younger?
So, what are these old people who look young doing differently? In an interview with a popular Taiwanese magazine, Lure revealed that the key to youthful looks is to drink water and eat vegetables. So, basically, a healthy lifestyle. She also pointed out the importance of moisturizing your skin: “once your skin has enough water, you don’t even need to worry about aging and wrinkles.
Similarly to Lure, sister Fayfay also recommended drinking lots of water, including a big glass of lukewarm water every morning. I have been doing that for more than a decade, Fayfay said. I drink 350 ml to 500 ml.
Science agrees. A recent study by The Lancet reveals that proper hydration can slow down aging and prolong a disease-free life.

How Can You Look 20 Years Younger Naturally?
Looking 20 years younger boils down to lifestyle choices and skincare practices. Prioritize a healthy lifestyle. This includes regular exercise, drinking plenty of water, and getting adequate sleep. There's no doubt that these are beautiful and youthful women. But some of these photos have been airbrushed to such an extreme that they're skewing our perception of expected natural aging, and that probably ain't healthy.

If they want to try and show the world how ageless they are, why us filters? I would like to see a picture of them without the airbrushing and other enhanced photo imaging and see what they really look like. I don't doubt they look young for their age, but show the world who you really are, not what they think we want to see.

The manipulation of these photos is so obvious they may as well have given themselves wings. It's one thing to tweak your pics to make them look better it's another thing entirely to do it to this extreme and then seek to flog them to a publication. It is finally becoming known that the key to looking younger and living longer is puberty. The longer it takes a person to enter puberty, the longer they tend to live and the younger they look. I did not enter puberty until I was fifteen, going on sixteen. Everyone my age had already entered and I still looked like a kid. I hated it back then. But I have always looked at least ten years younger, and I am physically in great health, even though I am now 73. Peer reviewed papers are finally beginning to come out about this, and its about time. Here's what I looked like as a senior at the Citadel, I stayed out for a year, so I was 23 at the time of this picture. I don't recall if it was on BP but there was a large post about photoshopping by Asian girls (not that only they do, but the post was specific) and the 'shopping was extremely well done. So I do have to wonder... Especially the large eyes. But kudos to them if I am wrong.

Stille 20, I can't agree more! 1. Asians are WELL KNOWN for looking young. It's genetics. On the other hand, American and West European women look older than their age. 2. You can combine N1 with good exercise and diet, though again, Asians do not have the tendency to gain weight like other races do. The girls actually look underweight, which is not healthy. 3. Wearing Emo make up and make your eyes round and bigger, like Japanese cartoon characters. This creates a juvenile facial expression. Combine it with teen girls fashion!

Chinese and Taiwanese out of the 3 major East Asian people's, *Chinese, Korean, Japanese* have many that have naturally large eyes, and double lid. Chinese people have great variation since the Han people have absorbed many different East Asian peoples into one nationality. I am Taiwanese, a guy and I have *big* eyes with the double lid naturally. It's more common than you think. But all the attention is on those without double lid who go and do the surgery to get it which I think is stupid since single lid eyes can look pretty good depending on its shape which also has many variations.

Utter b******t. These women are in their 20s, no matter how old they might claim they are. In all their instagram pics they look like they're in their 20s, they dress like they're in their 20's and they do stuff that people in their 20s do. I can believe they have good genetics and they just look younger, but their friends in their social media photos also look in their 20s, and somehow I don't think the whole population of Taiwan just stopped ageing or that they just happen to hang out with younger people - I don't know about you, but I personally like to hang out with people in my own age group, not hang out with high school kids. So yeah, unless I can somehow verify they really are this old I don't buy it.

And don't say "most" Asians undergo surgeries, stereotyping to the extreme. And they are not marketing any healthy brands unlike any other you've seen in the internet. Lol all the negative women on here complaining about them touching up or airbrushing their selfies. Why don't you follow your own words and stop wearing makeup if you think it's best to leave everything as is? I'm sure you look different without it. The filters are definitely augmenting the effect, but even if these had no filters, and they wore grandma sweaters, they'd be noticeable youthful looking—which is the point of the entire article. Stop being such negative Nancy's.

They are beautiful and all and should definitely be appreciated! ...but for me i am much happier when I got older and random men stopped bothering me and staring at me creepily. I think white westerners should stop denying that in general we age faster than other races. And i think the whole world is f****d up for in general only treating women as having any value if they are young and attractive. Shallow people commenting on here like old-looking or unattractive women (of any race) are worth less than attractive women (in any way other than attractiveness) are just showing their misogyny.

I just love the ignorant and jealous comments here. Why don't you people actually try to learn from this post instead of criticizing it. Since most of you people don't bother asking yourselves why? Let me do it for you all. It's simple. Healthy eating and taking care of YOUR OWN SKIN. Putting Sunscreen on your skin isn't protecting it....most Asian girls when they are outside they would always cover up their skin with very thin layer of clothing to block out the Sun. Also look at the FOOD you are eating. "I'm eating Salad and I don't look like that". Do you even know that cruciferous vegetables should be cooked before eating as they contain chemicals that BLOCK the production of thyroid hormone in your body. Also American foods are full of GM products. Also the "Tanning" mentality and heavy make up DAMAGES your SKIN. Neither which Asian women do very often. So stop being culturally ignorant and go do some research before commenting. You are just embarrassing yourselves.

No doubt that great genetic and nutrition play into it..but Taiwan is listed pretty much in the Top 7 list of countries with a high rate of plastic surgeries. To everyone that says filters, I'd say plastic surgery. Asians tend to look young. Genetics help. A correctly dialed in diet and plenty of resistance training is absolutely necessary. However; that level of "youthfulness" is simply far to incredulous. It simply doesn't happen. No matter how well you take care of yourself, the skid marks of age will still appear. What we're seeing there simply isn't possible without plastic surgery. Lot of it as well.

That said, I come from a long line of women who, for the five generations we have photographs for, routinely look 20 years younger than they really are. It's 100% genetics. I'm 54, people think I'm in my 30s. For ALL of those five generations, we ate whatever we wanted, everyone keeps active, and we just don't fret about the way we look.

I don't think these women, or the author, understand why they look so young. Asians have layers of fat around the eyes that prevent wrinkling, and around the bottom parts of their faces. This causes them to often look younger than they are. It has to do with genetics, not water.

Look at how skinny the middle women looks, looks anorexic. I have no want or need to look as skinny as any of them.. Yes genetics does play apart as much as how they eat. Also filters do hide a lot as well. O well if my eyes sag and i have a lot of gray hair. Im 40 in June so whatever. If i want i can fix it. That is what surgery is for lmao.

I am a fan of Asian culture and everything. I do think Asians are beautiful. But at the same time I am aware of their passion for plastic surgery. Those women above look exactly like every Asian girl who went under the knife. Big eyes (double eyelids), high nose bridge, round face, full lips with edges pointing up. Those are the basics of plastic surgery in Asia. I am not okay with those beauty standards that make them look all the same and like aliens/dolls. Apart from that, the advice for youthful look is not bad at all, but don't expect miracles.

lol if you are a fan of asian culture then you shouldn't be so ignorant and you should be aware that plenty of asians are born with double eyelids, and seriously if they got plastic surgery they would get ride of the round race and full lips because those aren't attractive by asian standards. "I am not okay with those beauty standards"? lol, how naive! all westerners have double eyelids but does that make them look the same? that is the same as saying that people look the same because they all have eyes? there is much more than that. plus, we asians abhor western beauty standards such as getting fake tans and lips so plump they literally look like sausages and getting rid of their large noses with plastic surgery.

Wow, either all of these women had extensive plastic surgeries to make them look more Western or they just used a filter to make their faces more doll like. You can see it in the photo with a child, who has a sweet unaltered face. I don't find it attractive, nor interesting to look at, but rather creepy. It is like a mannequin came to life.

They beauty are not real, they are plastic. I am not jealous, we are human, alive and aging. These four women have been in the best hand of a plastic surgeon, probably were done in Korea because they all look Korean patients of plastic surgery. Korean plastic surgery seems to have "one mould" to create the same look of their patients. I notice that they all turned out look similar after surgery. I don't buy it when they said they look young without the plastic surgery. Look at their Brother that still has a small eyes, NO DOUBLE EYELID at all and his nose is also different from his sisters and his mom, and their children who also has a small eyes at the tip like a typical eyes of Taiwanese or Chinese.

There's no doubt that these are beautiful and youthful women. But some of these photos have been airbrushed to such an extreme that they're skewing our perception of expected natural aging, and that probably ain't healthy.

If they want to try and show the world how ageless they are, why us filters? I would like to see a picture of them without the airbrushing and other enhanced photo imaging and see what they really look like. I don't doubt they look young for their age, but show the world who you really are, not what they think we want to see.

The manipulation of these photos is so obvious they may as well have given themselves wings. It's one thing to tweak your pics to make them look better it's another thing entirely to do it to this extreme and then seek to flog them to a publication. It is finally becoming known that the key to looking younger and living longer is puberty. The longer it takes a person to enter puberty, the longer they tend to live and the younger they look. I did not enter puberty until I was fifteen, going on sixteen. Everyone my age had already entered and I still looked like a kid. I hated it back then. But I have always looked at least ten years younger, and I am physically in great health, even though I am now 73. Peer reviewed papers are finally beginning to come out about this, and its about time. Here's what I looked like as a senior at the Citadel, I stayed out for a year, so I was 23 at the time of this picture. I don't recall if it was on BP but there was a large post about photoshopping by Asian girls (not that only they do, but the post was specific) and the 'shopping was extremely well done. So I do have to wonder... Especially the large eyes. But kudos to them if I am wrong.

Stille 20, I can't agree more! 1. Asians are WELL KNOWN for looking young. It's genetics. On the other hand, American and West European women look older than their age. 2. You can combine N1 with good exercise and diet, though again, Asians do not have the tendency to gain weight like other races do. The girls actually look underweight, which is not healthy. 3. Wearing Emo make up and make your eyes round and bigger, like Japanese cartoon characters. This creates a juvenile facial expression. Combine it with teen girls fashion!

Chinese and Taiwanese out of the 3 major East Asian people's, *Chinese, Korean, Japanese* have many that have naturally large eyes, and double lid. Chinese people have great variation since the Han people have absorbed many different East Asian peoples into one nationality. I am Taiwanese, a guy and I have *big* eyes with the double lid naturally. It's more common than you think. But all the attention is on those without double lid who go and do the surgery to get it which I think is stupid since single lid eyes can look pretty good depending on its shape which also has many variations.

Utter b******t. These women are in their 20s, no matter how old they might claim they are. In all their instagram pics they look like they're in their 20s, they dress like they're in their 20's and they do stuff that people in their 20s do. I can believe they have good genetics and they just look younger, but their friends in their social media photos also look in their 20s, and somehow I don't think the whole population of Taiwan just stopped ageing or that they just happen to hang out with younger people - I don't know about you, but I personally like to hang out with people in my own age group, not hang out with high school kids. So yeah, unless I can somehow verify they really are this old I don't buy it.

Lol all the negative women on here complaining about them touching up or airbrushing their selfies. Why don't you follow your own words and stop wearing makeup if you think it's best to leave everything as is? I'm sure you look different without it. The filters are definitely augmenting the effect, but even if these had no filters, and they wore grandma sweaters, they'd be noticeable youthful looking—which is the point of the entire article. Stop being such negative Nancy's.

They are beautiful and all and should definitely be appreciated! ...but for me i am much happier when I got older and random men stopped bothering me and staring at me creepily. I think white westerners should stop denying that in general we age faster than other races. And i think the whole world is f****d up for in general only treating women as having any value if they are young and attractive. Shallow people commenting on here like old-looking or unattractive women (of any race) are worth less than attractive women (in any way other than attractiveness) are just showing their misogyny.

I just love the ignorant and jealous comments here. Why don't you people actually try to learn from this post instead of criticizing it. Since most of you people don't bother asking yourselves why? Let me do it for you all. It's simple. Healthy eating and taking care of YOUR OWN SKIN. Putting Sunscreen on your skin isn't protecting it....most Asian girls when they are outside they would always cover up their skin with very thin layer of clothing to block out the Sun. Also look at the FOOD you are eating. "I'm eating Salad and I don't look like that". Do you even know that cruciferous vegetables should be cooked before eating as they contain chemicals that BLOCK the production of thyroid hormone in your body. Also American foods are full of GM products. Also the "Tanning" mentality and heavy make up DAMAGES your SKIN. Neither which Asian women do very often. So stop being culturally ignorant and go do some research before commenting. You are just embarrassing yourselves.

To everyone that says filters, I'd say plastic surgery. Asians tend to look young. Genetics help. A correctly dialed in diet and plenty of resistance training is absolutely necessary. However; that level of "youthfulness" is simply far to incredulous. It simply doesn't happen. No matter how well you take care of yourself, the skid marks of age will still appear. What we're seeing there simply isn't possible without plastic surgery. Lot of it as well.

That said, I come from a long line of women who, for the five generations we have photographs for, routinely look 20 years younger than they really are. It's 100% genetics. I'm 54, people think I'm in my 30s. For ALL of those five generations, we ate whatever we wanted, everyone keeps active, and we just don't fret about the way we look.

I don't think these women, or the author, understand why they look so young. Asians have layers of fat around the eyes that prevent wrinkling, and around the bottom parts of their faces. This causes them to often look younger than they are. It has to do with genetics, not water.

Look at how skinny the middle women looks, looks anorexic. I have no want or need to look as skinny as any of them.. Yes genetics does play apart as much as how they eat. Also filters do hide a lot as well. O well if my eyes sag and i have a lot of gray hair. Im 40 in June so whatever. If i want i can fix it. That is what surgery is for lmao.

I am a fan of Asian culture and everything. I do think Asians are beautiful. But at the same time I am aware of their passion for plastic surgery. Those women above look exactly like every Asian girl who went under the knife. Big eyes (double eyelids), high nose bridge, round face, full lips with edges pointing up. Those are the basics of plastic surgery in Asia. I am not okay with those beauty standards that make them look all the same and like aliens/dolls. Apart from that, the advice for youthful look is not bad at all, but don't expect miracles.

Wow, either all of these women had extensive plastic surgeries to make them look more Western or they just used a filter to make their faces more doll like. You can see it in the photo with a child, who has a sweet unaltered face. I don't find it attractive, nor interesting to look at, but rather creepy. It is like a mannequin came to life.

a lot of surgery.....asien people with round shape eyes??? blurry pictures en filters.....you can find the grandma by looking at hands and knees...tehu are not soft and round ....in one picture you can even see pfotoshop between th eyebrows there is a shade!! i do not buy it

Well. Plastic surgery and filters all-out. Wax dolls. But at least, they try to look like white girls. They do what they can. It's better than nothing.

They beauty are not real, they are plastic. I am not jealous, we are human, alive and aging. These four women have been in the best hand of a plastic surgeon, probably were done in Korea because they all look Korean patients of plastic surgery. Korean plastic surgery seems to have "one mould" to create the same look of their patients. I notice that they all turned out look similar after surgery. I don't buy it when they said they look young without the plastic surgery. Look at their Brother that still has a small eyes, NO DOUBLE EYELID at all and his nose is also different from his sisters and his mom, and their children who also has a small eyes at the tip like a typical eyes of Taiwanese or Chinese.

lol don't be jealous and accept that some people are just beautiful and young and THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT even if you are too jealous and try to find excuses as if all siblings look alike. lol i have double eyelids but my brother has single eyelids even though i never got plastic surgery so aha.
