We were apart for months, and I really really miss my girl.
After numerous attempts, finally it happened. I’ve planned it for almost a month, made my reservations, booked my flights, and had the hotel do small favors for us to make it a very special weekend (like hiding a bouquet of flowers on the closet, and welcoming us with wine and cake when we got into our hotel room). Then the hotel decides to upgrade our room to a suite just because they happen to know its our anniversary.
There were couple of good restaurants around so no need to go around the city, so we had plenty more time to spend on our moments, instead of haggling with traffic and being stuck for hours.(I actually don’t mind, as long as we’re together)
It was really an amazing time well-spent, and I would do it again if I had the chance. We’ve got tons of great photos together. Ones that we will keep and treasure forever.
Long distance relationship is hard work. It takes courage to be on one. But trust me, if you really love your partner, and if she means everything to you, it’s all worth the trip. When did you last saw each other? Just go for it!
Then comes the most difficult time, the night before your flight back.
