My dad started drawing these comics in the 80s, just for fun. An electrical engineer by day, in his spare time, he would create these doodles that represented our family: male bears and female bunnies. Growing up, he would leave little notes in my lunchbag of the little daughter bunny and father bear hugging, wishing me a good day, reminders to practice my violin, or making sure I ate all my lunch at school. As I got older, he “reserved” his doodling creativity for Christmas, birthday and Valentine’s day cards for my mom, drawing a scene comically reflecting our family of four.

Today, I managed to convince him to share his drawings with the world on Instagram (@jandhcomics). Simple, wholesome and comical in the most subtle of ways, I hope you guys like them!
