I'm not sure what sort of reply you are looking for. My family went through a time of extreme stress. We all came out of it "okay" and healthy, so we didn't' expect to have any trauma response. We were wrong, haha. We all experienced trauma response in different ways. Most of it was exactly the symptoms of what they call C-PTSD. My mom would get a sick stomach if you brought up certain subjects, and the younger children were uncharacteristically cranky and spent a lot of time crying for no apparent reason. One of my sisters filled up her schedule and spent 100% of her time dashing from one activity to the next. One of my sisters got depression. My dad had to do a talk about his home country once, and couldn't get out of bed for two days afterward because of how his body responded to the "trigger." I personally had depression and spent a lot of time crying or having anxiety attacks. I also couldn't trust people and didn't make friends because of it. We are all much better now. Some subjects are still best left alone though. I paid for therapy for myself and it helped a lot. I have since been able to help everyone else from what I learned. I am actually grateful in some ways for the things we went through, because lately I've had friends come up to me and ask for advice or "can you please talk to so and so, they are struggling" and I actually know how to approach the subject and make them feel comfortable with opening up.
