Went To Portugal For 1 Year Student Exchange, Here Is How My Academic Year Went

˝My experience is so special and unique˝ – every exchange student (except those late bloomers who missed home breastfeeding too much to enjoy) It’s simple, I went studying to Portugal (Lisbon) for a year, had an amazing time and in some cases, I documented my life with camera.

I want to share those moments here, also because someone might be having second thoughts about moving away from home for a certain period of time. It’s quadruple worth it. No matter where you go.

Abandones restaurant over Lisbon. Be careful for the cops here, gotta sneak in and out. Surprisingly enough, no ghost stories so far.

My friend, my weird foot and I went to Peniche for a 3-day surfing trip. Eat, surf, eat tuna, surf, sleep, repeat.

Praia Ribeira do Cavalho – few years ago a hidden paradise only locals knew, now a touristic destination. Don’t tell anyone, it’s already too crowded.

Nazaré, where arguably the biggest wave in history was surfed in 2012. Google it.
