We Made This 3ft X 8ft Giant Squid Collage With Thousands Of Pieces Of Hand Cut Paper!
We are Bay Area based creative duo Tetsuya Takenomata and Andrea Bergen. We specialize in the creation of intricate, animal-centric hand cut paper collages. This piece took 120 hours to complete and is our post apocalyptic vision of Los Angeles. We wanted to incorporate as many icons of the LA landscape as possible! This collage is jammed packed with animals, food, and other recognizable objects. Using the giant squid allowed us to craft a story around the destruction of the city, he’s unintentionally creating chaos by grabbing everything he can get his tentacles around!
