This Feminist Instagram Page Shares The Most Accurate Posts That Depict The Problems With Our Society (50 Pics)
Our social media feeds often contain much more than just innocent puns and juicy innuendo. If we keep our eyes open, every now and then, we can notice important social topics popping up alongside funny relatable TikToks and mind-bending Twitter threads.
Even more so if we follow accounts that are consciously trying to make statements and spark discussions. Like the Instagram page 'Nasty Feminism.'
Calling itself a "leftist activism-based" online project, it unapologetically shares hot takes on a wide variety of issues, ranging from racism to migration and everything in between. Here are a few of their most popular posts.

I’ve seen this in several pro life groups and 99% of them are fine with all these things.
@missy - so you're against male ejaculation, right? 'Cause all of those sperm cells are actually alive. Better start your witch hunt on men! Also, your internalised misogyny is showing
Load More Replies...We don't so these things, but shouldn't we? It's not like there aren't a lot of doc visits and cost related to the cost of a newborn that the father should probably actually be paying child support on. Maybe we should start doing some of these things.
As a pro-life person myself, I have to say the child support thing is a fabulous idea. Actually, earlier this month I believe, a democrat in Oklahoma introduced a bill that would require men to financially support the unborn baby and mother, and the idea was generally applauded by pro-lifers. I'm not sure why everyone thinks this is a good argument against us, because most of the pro-lifers I know would agree.
I firmly believe people that find themselves in this situation should exercise their legal rights and force the courts to go on the books one way or the other. Either they uphold the law and create more complications in society or they can't uphold the abortion law because they can't also accommodate all these downstream implications (also their base argument would be proven hypocritical).
It is possible to have insurance money even if you misscarry early, I sadly know that from own experience. Would rather have a live baby then the money though. Child support sounds great, but not sure what costs someone in a belly has, no activities or clothing and we have free maternal care. I sure can take the child support for my pregnancy cravibgs though 😁.
Child support is to support the life of the child. So if a child is alive at 6 weeks payments start then. The way to argue out of it would mean reversing the argument that life begins at 6 weeks (or conception as some would have it).
Load More Replies...Speaking of women's rights... Does a female fetus have the right not to be torn limb from limb ? It's a human life - when it comes to rights, should go all in. PS - insurance is not a right - it's a business transaction between consenting parties.
A fetus isn't viable in itself. It can't consent but it also cannot deny. Stop trying to derail this conversation with imaginary problems. Takes a special kind of weirdo to think this is a good argument, honestly
Load More Replies...Yah, I'm struggling to understand that too. Very much. And many of these are considering bleach injection or horse deworming medication. I guess this will remain the biggest mystery for me.
Some of these fringe news sites and fringe social media sites are straight up lying and claiming that hundreds of thousands are dying from the vaccine and that more have died from the vaccine than have died from Covid. I have encountered several people now who make this claim.
Load More Replies...I felt so frustrated last night, reading a post where someone touted "natural immunity". That is not how small pox was eradicated or how polio stopped being a widespread menace. So many arguments I could make against so few brain cells.
I've learned some time ago that those whose opinions aren't formed by facts wont change their minds by factual argument. Just roll your eyes and walk away.
Load More Replies...They're also the same people that will shout that covid never killed anyone, they just happened to die from something else whilst infected.
I once told antivaxxer that covid gave me permanent nerve damage and she said " That's what vaccine do. Buy Ivermectin" That's not what vaccine do, but apparently they can't even tell difference between covid and vaccine.
so one person literally read me a list of 30 or so people who had bad side effects "from the vaccine" and didn't have a good answer when i pointed out that millions of people have gotten the vaccine and have been JUST FINE
It has to do with trust. People who are against the vaccine do not trust the government.. at all.. in any situation. Credentials, logical arguments, nothing will sway this type of thinking. Public trust in our government has been eroding for more than half a century and it's likely only going to get worse.
According to a 2020 Pew Research Center survey about gender equality, many of the values of the feminist movement have been accepted across the political spectrum in the United States, even among Americans who don't personally identify as feminists.
For instance, a majority of Democrats and Republicans say it is very important for women to have equal rights with men. Similarly, majorities in both partisan coalitions support adding the Equal Rights Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
But feminists are much more likely than non-feminists to say the country has not gone far enough when it comes to giving women equal rights with men (74% vs. 39%). Feminists are also more likely to say the bigger problem is people not seeing discrimination against women where it really does exist, rather than people seeing discrimination against women where it really does not exist (81% of adults who identify as feminists say not seeing discrimination is the bigger problem, compared with 53% of non-feminists).
These and other forms of video surveillance are sometimes the ONLY evidence and there are still attempts to suppress it.
If a police officer turns off their camera, it begs the question “what didn’t you want the court to see?”
In the UK body cameras reduced the number of assault and false accusations against officers. So what could US cops possibly be afraid of? I wonder
I gave a ticket to some entitled guy who claimed that Lt So-and-so always "took care of" his tickets, so I was just wasting my time. I had it on camera, and wrote it in my report. Next day: "Sorry, that part of the film is missing".
So did you reported Lt So-and-so for this evidence tempering and/or did you alerted local news organizations if your report weren't fruitful? If you reported no one didn't you helped Lt So-and-so with destroying evidence. I am sorry you don't get to wash your hands off of this.

Maybe they would be more careful about who they threw in jail n who they decide to murder. There has been so many ppl put to death and later exonerated... yet the US has done NOTHING to stop wrongful conviction or done anything to reform the system. Let that sink in.
Wrongfully prosecutes.. not convicts. They don't convict. Judges n juries do. But they wouldn't be convicting anyone if the prosecutors and the cops were honest and had integrity over pride. (Watch innocent man on Netflix! You'll see what I mean)

Well, our CONSTITUTION, which is not a document that is 235 years old, gives: paid maternity leave; universal basic education and feeding at schools (free but state only); minimum wage; free water up to 50kL; free housing if you are indigent (*waiting queue applies); 5 kWh free electricity; free hospital (state only). Of course, when your tax base is 10% of the population, these things may not be first-world standard, but at least our constitution supplies them as human rights. Strangely, we do NOT have a right to carry a gun.

The researchers think these differences can be somewhat explained by partisanship: feminists are far more likely than non-feminists to identify with or lean toward the Democratic Party.
Overall, Democrats and those who lean Democratic are more likely than Republicans and Republican leaners to say gender equality is very important, and they are more than twice as likely to say the country has not gone far enough in giving women equal rights (76% vs. 33%). And while most Democrats (85%) say the bigger problem is people not seeing discrimination against women where it really does exist, a much smaller share of Republicans (46%) say the same.
I had exactly the same argument with a Korean friend that votes republican. Not a single person in a trump rally would know the difference between Chinese and Korean nor would they care.
Fascinating. Have you asked your Korean friend what would happen if USA went to war with DPRK? I am pretty sure an internment camp would be in the offing. https://www.history.com/topics/world-war-ii/japanese-american-relocation
Load More Replies...Or nasty? The only thing nasty about it is the racist idiots that are being called out. EDIT: Either I have completely misunderstood the title of this thread, or this thread has been misnamed.
Load More Replies...To be fair, plenty of people who are not at all racist cannot distinguish between languages, including western ones. It's a lot easier to make the distinction when you see it in written form, but generally difficult in spoken form.
The difference is that "people who are not at all racist" would therefore not make a false assumption and call any Asians Chinese.
Load More Replies...I can't tell most languages apart. I have to hear a word I actually recognise and pray it isn't a cognate to even make an educated guess. And I don't care what language you speak, so I imagine the bigots put even less effort into identifying what language you speak and just go straight for hate
Same goes for women that do the same with men by the way, it's not a gender exclusive statement
Adding on for my fellow women: If you only treat the women that look like you with respect, you don't respect women.
I'm so tired of men shouting out "but what about men????!" in the comments of every post like this. Or "all lives matter"-people. Of course the same goes for all humans. It's just as bad if a woman does this to a man and every true feminist would agree with that. But, there is a difference historically and on a structural level. We're trying to even out the field and that's why we say "women's rights" or "black lives matter". Instead of being hurt that men (or white people regarding race) are not particularly mentioned you should get the point and understand that's already covered and have been for thousands of years.
Respect is one of the nebulous words that changes meaning depending on who's using it. For far too many, respect has become code for "agree with everything i think, feel and say or i'll drag you on the internet as a racist/phobic/sexist PoS simply because you didn't validate every fart that passes betwixt my cheeks as being the glorious accomplishment I KNOW IT IS!"
Not everyone is deemed worthy of my respect. Respect is earned not given. Just because you are a woman does not automatically give you the entitlement to my respect.
THIS is being "triggered". THIS is PTSD. Too many people think that you can't say certain things or talk about certain subjects because it might "trigger" someone... but it won't. I'm sure this woman is perfectly comfortable talking about the subject of assault without any dramatic results. But she smells a specific laundry detergent and this happens. "trigger warnings" are impossible because what actually triggers PTSD is completely unique and specific to the individual situation. A soldier might get PTSD when he hears a car backfire, or fireworks. But won't be "triggered" because someone is talking about bombings or war. -- This might seem like a bit of a weird rant, but I find it annoying how people are misusing and the term "triggered" as a result trivializing PTSD.
Triggers are different for everyone, and everyone processes their trauma differently. Someone absolutely can be triggered by hearing or reading about something. Please don't invalidate those people just because your experience is different.
Load More Replies...I was 13 and now almost 59. There hasn't been a day that it hasn't crossed my mind.
You aren't going to get people out there who understand triggers (and triggers are for SO many different issues) until they have a trigger. and scent is the longest lasting sense. Basically, some people (men and women) will be very understanding. Some will be as cruel as "you haven't got over that already?"
there is no time limit to trauma you never really get over it maybe you learn to manage it or live with it but you never get over it i wish more people understood that

As all movements do, feminism has evolved greatly since its beginning in the 19th century. Another 2020 Pew Research Center survey found that overall, the public feels the feminist movement has contributed to the advancement of women's rights in the U.S.: 22% say it's done a great deal and 48% say it’s done a fair amount.
But 43% of adults who say feminism describes them very or somewhat well also say the movement is polarizing, and 45% would not describe it as inclusive.
Vaccine schedules for kids to keep all kids safe at school. Ironic how now they want to make a fuss.
I am part of a generation that remembers some kids disappearing from school and never coming back... because of polio.
I was also in West Africa when measles was causing a high rate of infant deaths, but was stopped by vaccines.
Load More Replies...It blew my mind when I learned kids 12 and up have to show photo ID along with their vaccine cards. Not all schools hand out student ID cards to kids that young, and what local carries around passports? Not everyone has one. Not every teenager has a license, here.

Getting covid and recovering is one thing; dying or having long covid is quite another.
Load More Replies...Except for that pesky fact about the polio vaccine actually preventing further outbreaks of the disease. Something the covid shot has failed to do thus far.
That's because polio is a vastly different pathogen from Covid. And because Americans and people around the world cooperated more aggressively, encouraging others to help 'kick polio Makes a big difference when we 'pull' together, chief BTW, the vaccine is made to mostly 'teach' your immune system & WBCs how to recognize the virus it encounters so it is better able to FIGHT it off PREVENTION is a type of vaccine that can take much longer to develop. That would be when those human trials, nutters, keep bringing up. Polio was eradicated for the most part because more people globally cooperated, trusted the researchers and got vaxxed. Confronted by a 'host' (human population) that pretty much uniformly had the key to resist, the polio virus died off. Regular vaccine protocol then kept any variations from gaining a hold and the virus ran out of steam and stopped replicating and mutating. If we had achieved more Vax resistance than we probably would have had this virus under control last y

Yes but that's not what Biden and democrats are doing though. 400k a year maybe sounds like a lot but in some places like NY and California that describes hundreds of thousands if not millions of working professional couples that vote for democrats and are solidly middle class. If you really mean to tax the rich then start talking about $10 million+ a year people but you know that you won't get a lot of tax revenue from that crowd becuase most of their money are coming from investments instead of sallaries.

However, Cynthia de las Fuentes, Ph.D., past-president of American Psychological Association's Div. 35 (Society for the Psychology of Women), thinks such negative perceptions derive from media distortion-not the movement's mission of equality for the sexes at work and at home.
She also believes that many simply don't realize that equality has yet to be achieved.
"A lot of young people think that women's rights have already been accomplished," said de las Fuentes, an associate professor at San Antonio-based Our Lady of the Lake University. "We've got Title IX; we've got laws against gender discrimination. But they don't realize there are still so many forces against women's rights, like reproductive rights and pay equity. We still have 73 cents on the dollar a man earns."
Luckily, as the popularity of this Instagram shows, people appreciate the reminders.
I thought is was illegal to shut of water supply because it is a primary necessity
Load More Replies...I don't really understand this one, the water was paid for by someone so why would they care that much about who actually used it? Especially since water is a utility so there are fairly strict limits set on it.
Either we're not getting all of the story, or it's fabricated. If someone is paying their water bill, they can use that water however they like. Also, police do not come out to shut off water, the utility company does that themselves. Unless, as I said, we're missing part of the story. Edit: Tekaa explains this scenario well, a little further down in comments, things I definitely wasn't aware of.
Load More Replies...Years ago, my grandfather briefly worked as a repo man for Sears. He and his coworker were sent to repo a washer and dryer from a family who had made all but one payment. He asked his boss what to do with the appliances, and the boss said to take them to the junkyard. My grandfather drove back to the family, reinstalled their washer and dryer, told the boss the job was done, and quit without notice. My grandfather had a strong moral compass, and nearly all of it was based on treating others well.
I call BS. I can give water to whoever I choose, it is mine. And the cops would not be the ones turning off the water. If water is going to be shut off it would be the utility company. And even if it was illegal, there would be charges and legal stuff, not just shutting off your water.
Can't imagine a world where a) this is the law and b) someone is willing to enforce that law.
I can. Same world where a certain country is allowed or tolerated while it invades and bombs random countries without anyone else protesting or threatening sanctions etc.
Load More Replies...WTF??? So you are forbidden to give water to a needy person bc it's the law or something?
Honestly, this isn't something I've ever heard of. The utility companies have no idea if someone is allowing a neighbor to use their garden hose and, if that person is paying their water bill, they don't really care.

I don't think anyone finds Boris' hair acceptable. It's constantly ridiculed.

This has always irked me. I went to a Catholic school where there was only a handful of black kids. 2 of them being like family because we grew up next door to eachother, celebrated holidays together, birthday etc. well in 5th grade Kam n Nick got cornrows. They looked great! They were told it was an "inappropriate hairstyle n needed to be removed or they'd be suspended" meanwhile.. we had just gotten back from spring break where every fucken white girl who went to florida for vacation had THE SAME FUCKEN BRAIDS IN THEIR HAIR.. but that was acceptable because "they got it done on vacation.. it's like a right of passage to go to the beach and have your hair braided" (I s**t you not THAT was the argument) .. but it isn't a "right of passage" for two young black men to have their hair braided in traditional protective styles that is actually apart of THEIR culture and has an actual fucken purpose beyond just looking dope af? That was the first time I realized how f****d up the world is.

Teach your children to TIP PROPERLY. It's important and it teaches respect.
Or better teach them to overthrow a system where waiters have to rely on charity of the patrons for a livable wage. Tipping is a US broken society thing, it's not so common in the Western world.

In our country we do not specifically hire waiters on the grounds of gender or attractiveness. You're highly unlikely to be served by a young, attractive female; and if you are, she's generally the only one on staff and you'll get looks from the other waiters. Generally you will be served by a 30-something man. So fortunately, we do not have this BS here.

The devil doesn't need an advocate. He already has plenty of lawyers.
There are reasons for what led to that but they should be treated as things to change not things to excuse.
the only reasons why someone would be defending any of this are if they Are the thing, they know someone they respect who Does the thing, or they have Contemplated doing the thing and would like to keep the road clear just in case they get the chance.
I'm not sure it's the kind of devil's advocate that OP is referring to. Sure, how we handle it may need it (like the #MeToo movement) but rape and sexual assault itself don't need an "opposing viewpoint".

This sounds so awful, it's hard to believe it's true. And guess what? It's not as black and white as this makes it out to be. She 'saves' migrants that are no more than a few meters away from shore and at no risk of drowning or anything. She's accused of helping human traffickers. Everyone is allowed to save people who are drowning or at risk, but this is not what she did.
She is a heroine, she just took people from a rubber boat 100 meters from the beach of a peaceful but poor country, and took them by ship for 600 kilometers to another state illegally, after having made agreements with the smugglers who robbed them, raped and sold to local mafias.
She’s the kind of person I want leading every charge in every battle in society.. She’s the kind of person I want to stand beside. She’s the kind of person we should be trying to emulate. Stand up for what you believe in, be strong, be kind and think about who you can help or support, no matter how small or big your contribution you will make a difference.

And yes, the FBI turned to the public for help in facial identification. Contrast that to BLM where charges such as "arson" were dropped with prejudiced.
That is a false comparison. Those two are not comparable. Nor were the effects of the violence. Rioters in Minneapolis burned down a police precinct; others in other cities looted and burned buildings. All of those acts were criminal and damaging. None of them broadly threatened the existence of law enforcement or commerce. The dismantling of a city’s police department is objectively less significant than the overthrow of the U.S. government. More importantly, the violence itself wasn’t simply meant to send a message to legislators, the violence was meant to actually effect the desired change.
Load More Replies...Those attempting to equate the protests last year with the storming of the Capitol are collapsing hundreds of protests aimed at police brutality into one homogeneous and violent event. In reality, the vast majority of protests (which there is plenty of proof for) involved no violent acts at all. The protest promoted by Trump in the weeks before Jan. 6 did result in violence, with hundreds of Trump supporters attacking police and vandalizing the seat of federal legislative power in the United States. Simply on a percentage basis, rallies centered on Trump’s lies about the election being stolen have FAR more often devolved into deadly violence than did Black Lives Matter protests. Trump supporters expressed more outrage about the alleged hypocrisy of the left than about Trump's incitement of his base to march on the Capitol in the first place.
faces are actually really hard to track someone down with. because the government is not monitoring citizens constantly with hidden cameras in sprinkler heads. with an online purchase, there's a name attached to that. there's a name attached to the debit card that was entered into that. with just a face.....I mean, they don't personally know everyone in the entire country.
They couldn't track them through their "I don't coparent with the government" shirts or their maga hat purchases? Or their "anti abortion" shirts n pin purchases? Why do people care more that little white kids might feel bad over factual history? We teach history in the hope we are not doomed to repeat it not to coddle children.
I was a little white kid who felt bad - it didn't hurt me any, though it would have been even better if they included constructive things to do as well as the terrible details. Also if they didn't teach these things as though they were all in the past and everything's fine now, when that's clearly not the case.

Because when it was just "teach history" any history concerning Black Americans or their contributions were left out of the lessons, that is why. Our racial history is MUCH more convoluted than I believe many Europeans here on BP think....it is not as easy as "teach history" when you have a country that has historically declared an entire race inferior, used them like farm equipment for over a hundred years, then forced them to remain separated, second class citizens for another hundred. Our laws are a reflection of that.
Load More Replies...The stupid thing is that 'history' (i.e. white history) isn't being correctly taught the whole time it doesn't take black history, and the history or other non-whites, into account anyway. I've been reading about the history of black people in the UK, which is fascinating in itself, and the richness it adds to all our histories is unbelievable.
History was my favorite subject in school, but it was always Eurocentric including "World History". Even literature classes were always Eurocentric. I would have loved it if we had access to other histories such as African, Eastern Asia, Native American, etc. By understanding histories other than our own, we understand ourselves better as humans.
The sad part is that the “not like other girls” thing came around because women were so heavily stereotyped in the first place. However, that is no excuse to tear other women down and judge them because of their clothing/attitude/everything. Unless of course, they’re wearing a Confederate flag tee-shirt. In which case, judge away.
And the first girl is like who da fk is this crazy girl waiving at me and shouting at imaginary people while I'm waiting in the Starbucks line??? 😂

Better screening to become a police officer??? IDK but too many are starting to look like they have joined a club/cult that hunt humans
Maybe just starting to require an actual training that focuses not only on shooting skills? In some european countries, policemen are trained about 3 years not also in practice but also in special colleges, ranging from law, traffic organisation, psychology, sociology to political sciences. Yes, shooting and defense, too, but not that much. Some american states still do not require much more than a few weeks of shooting training.

You people are gross for trying to make him some kind of a victim. Karma is a mirror and he deserved everything he got.
He deserved being tried in a court of law. The cops had guns and training. They should have used that training to disarm him and drag his ass to jail. Chances are, his conviction would not have resulted in a death sentence. Cops are not judge and jury, and so should not act like it.
Load More Replies...I don't understand this violence at all. When I was in my Administration of Justice class in high school 20 yes ago as a precursor to studying law enforcement in college, my teacher, who was a retired deputy sheriff taught us that deadly force is almost always unnecessary. He only fired his gun once in his entire career. To never fire when bystanders are close or could be injured, and never a fleeing car or fleeing person. That there is usually another nonlethal way to apprehend the suspect. He was also former secret service in the 70s.
If you know these cases but don't know Tony Timpa and Daniel Shaver, you're missing the point. It's not white vs. black; it's blue vs. everyone.
Is it true that the training for police in the US is something like 2 mths, where as in Europe it's a 3-4 yr degree?
Yes. The average police basic training is about 21 months. I wish it was longer, such as part of a degree program. https://bjs.ojp.gov/content/pub/pdf/slleta13.pdf

No, it is not. It is a mobile ER staffed with highly trained medical professionals. Please show paramedics a bit more respect.
Load More Replies...Lol drove myself to the hospital in labor because the cost of an ambo ride would've put me out of budget. Go 'Murica 🙄
The ambulance is for life and death emergency. Calling an ambulance to take you to the hospital because of a sprained ankle is not an emergency and could delay support to a critically ill patient.
I get what you're saying but I think the original question took this into account. What if you need paramedic services but couldn't afford it?
Load More Replies...Comparing a taxis to an ambulance is about the same as a john boat to a yaht. The ambulance is faster with medical professionals. I garuntee any first responder would be offended by this, rightfully so.
Who the hell keeps downvoting these comments? How do people have such little respect for paramedics?
Load More Replies...Ambulances are NOT taxis. They are mobile ER's. They are staffed with highly trained medical professionals, who frequently have more training than most nurses, who are there to save your life when you happen to try to die anywhere that is not a hospital. Paramedics deserve a LOT more recognition than this, especially considering what they see on a day to day basis.
Thanks you! I think we should also recognise the roll the play in assessing people to determine when they DON’T need to go to hospital. That in itself is essential - if they can sort someone out enough that they can get to their doctor the next day or have a family member come to help them they reduce clogging up ER’s unnecessarily, which frees up beds and staff for people really needing hospitalisation fast.
Load More Replies...A "taxi" to the hospital who's "taxi driver" can get you there faster than any regular taxi. And the folks in the back can save your life on your way there. Shouldn't have to pay for that at all. It should be a free ride.
Scruff, in the USA, yes that is the case. Not in most other countries though. In Canada ambulances and paramedics are paid for by taxes, so we don't have to worry about choosing between going bankrupt or dying.

I'm glad people are talking about Breonna Taylor. I felt that her disgraceful treatment at the hands of police was overlooked in the wake of the George Floyd issue. Moving forward, I really think BLM would get an avalanche of support from all quarters if they focused on getting justice for Breonna.
My favorite part of this was the crowd surrounding and yelling "Say her name!" at Rand Paul, the man who wrote the bill with her name on it to ban no-knock raids. Know who your real enemies are.
train police better. they shouldn't have kicked down the door without at least trying to knock, they shouldn't have made such a standard house visit in the middle of the night. this could have been a calm and diplomatic incident if the police had know what they were doing.
Want to know how bad s**t is??? No?? Stop reading here. It’s so bad that when the Los Angeles county officials decided to put up portapotty toilets for the homeless in order to address the growing problem of human waste on the streets and impacts to local businesses now dealing with hundreds of homeless people needing to use a bathroom. The city and county officials did not think things through completely, not ever imagining that local gang members would move in, and actively prevent the homeless from using the facilities by charging them a dollar a visit. The county had to make more choices. Pay for a 24 hour security guard or remove the toilets…guess which they chose. Yup, they removed the toilets.
Sadly, everyone assumes communism is terrible because of the leaders that have made it communistic (Mao) but doing work to be able to make enough money equally to afford a house/housing and food and water daily doesn't seem so bad. This is not true. A house must be appraised by a licensed appraiser. The appraiser will take many different factors into account and then give their best estimate based on their findings, and this does sometimes involve personal judgment. So, it's entirely possible that an appraiser with overt or unconscious bias could quote a lower value based on what they think of the homeowners. Also, let's just imagine there were no black people on this planet, or brown, or yellow, just white people. They will still hate on something else, like people with red hair, or short people, or people with a disability.
Not really, it's just that if 90% of the violent crimes in a city are black-on-black, then stopping 90% black people and only 10% white people in the search for weapons is what I would call "backed up by the statistics".
I'm part of the black community and I've never heard anyone, white or otherwise, talk about black on black violence but really they mean, "why can't we kill them?" I'm not disputing that some white people are absolute mentalists and may be thinking that very thing but it's foolish to suggest ALL white people think the same thing, that's just absurd.

Crazy. The BLM protestors did kill 27 store owners and innocent people in the street. Don’t act like you care about people or property. Nice you compare two completely different things that have nothing to do with one another. It’s called a straw man argument and isn’t even allowed in term papers in school because it’s complete nonsense. Also, all the fires set by BLM were on purpose, without caring if there were people inside the buildings.
Better whisper this, or else people will be doing race reveals this way. Like, they'll light smoke flares when they see a "suspicious person"

My husband is North African and raised Muslim. Yes every year his family buys a sheep and kills it at home. It is shockingly different than how we in the western world obtain meat. Here we buy prepackaged, wrapped in plastic and styrofoam, injected with chemicals to make it appear red and fresh, and we are so far removed from where it came from, what sacrifices were made so that we could eat that we allow an entire industry prolific abuse of animals.
As opposed to the other religions that pick their steaks off a "beef tree", I suppose.
The Daily Mail is the UK's answer to the National Enquirer. It's a sensationalist rag.
School boy for me was fairly bland. School girl for me was a mix of normal and sexualized. And as a straight woman, I'm not in the habit of searching for sexualized females of any kind, so this is built into the search engine, not me.

In movies, books, shows, etc the villain is never someone you fall in love with. They're always fat and ugly while the protagonist is always skinny, flawless, and beautiful. Fatshaming starts in daycare with Cinderella and Snow White. It's rooted in our culture that pretty people get more stuff. When I'm with my friends, I send my skinny, pretty friends to ask or tell sales clerks, waitress/waiters, and security guards things because they won't listen to me. Oh, and btw, people don't "look" racist. A personality trait doesn't come with a "look". I can "look" German by having pale skin, blue eyes, and blonde hair. I can "look" Hispanic by having coco skin, dark eyes, and black hair. So tell me, how do I "look" racist? By being fat? By being ugly? By being middle-aged? How shallow are you to think a trait has a look?
AAANd all of this miss the most important point that is underneath the fatphobia thing. Why in America (and only in america) healty food is much expensive than unhealty food. I mean... fruits and vegetables are cheap to produce, then, something something and Bamm. One roman lettuce 3$ and one McBurger 1$. WHY?
You know, this is a good case of "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all". I don't like the look on the first women either, but I wouldn't posts pictures of them, ridicule them or publicly shame them. I'd let them wear whatever the f**k they want and move on with my life. It doesn't concern me. If you don't like something, move on, don't mock it!
sick and tired of the hate on people's appearances. 2 wrongs don't make a right.
can we agree that mom jeans look good on NO ONE and ban them forever? its not about the body type, its about the style breaking up the body's proportions in a way that is unnatural looking and not even a victoria's secret model could pull it off. Your crotch should not be bigger than your head!
Well yeah, part of fashion is having clothes that fit right. In fact that’s Fashion Designer goal number one. Proper fit. Style and design wont make up for a bad cut.
The most disgusting thing about all of these things is that women need to dress in a particular way in order to avoid being sexualised. How about men start seeing women as people rather than objects?
This is why people see the hijab as oppression, by men who are so unable to control themselves that even a female forearm or shin may make them "sin".

If men were taught to value women as humans, we could walk around naked SAFELY.
This assumes Muslim women to be in western culture (it does, you just don’t get why). If these Muslim women were in the west then maybe it’s an apt comparison but I can’t even go home without being forced to wear some ugly ass scarf over my awesome hair, so no. It’s oppression and you slags are just helping them do it. It’s men’s jobs to not sexualize us, not the other way.
I 100% agree. It's also not their choice to choose what you wear. You should have the right to wear or not wear a headscarf no matter where you live. Neither forcing it or preventing it is acceptable in any way. People use the situation where women are being forced to cover to say it's okay to prevent headscarves but they're not opposing things, their the same root issue of controlling women and need to be focused on together.
Load More Replies...There’s a difference between dressing that way because you want to, and dressing that way because you will be beaten in public if you didn’t.
I think it's interesting that western society hates on Muslim culture for having gendered dressing standards but is fine telling girls to cover their shoulders in school and work so they're not sexually distracting. Or to require they wear skirts for school uniforms.
Interesting that a friend of mine had surgery at the hospital I used to work at. This friend had always been disdainful of women who wear hijabs. Muslims in general. The nurse who looked after her wore a hijab. My friend described her as sweet and compassionate. I know her & it's so true. The woman who came to draw her blood, I know her too. The best at doing that in the entire hospital. Lovely person. She wears a hijab. Described her as kind & so gentle she never felt the needle go in. She never mentioned the fact that they both wore a hijab. I had to ask, just to establish in my mind which colleagues looked after her. Hopefully this gave her an attitude change. It's their choice. None of her business. Stop judging and take people as they are & show respect for how they express their faith.
We cover because it's mandated by an oppressive religious text and we risk corporal punishment by not obeying* Fixed for accuracy
If the Muslim women CHOOSE it, good. But if it's expected they be Muslim, expected they cover up, and they can be KILLED if they don't... that is a problem.
And eventually people will be able to say "All these African countries have been independent for longer than they were British colonies." Isn't the concept of time wonderful.

He was not an innocent man.
Are we supposed to feel sorry for a gangbanging kidnapper and murderer? The victims were in their twenties and had their whole life ahead of them. I agree wholeheartedly! We who are transgender were never consulted when we were born this way. Nobody gets to choose what they are at birth. The fact that society keeps us from noticing or doing anything about it for so long is no excuse to invalidate us.
Jacob Rosenberg is obviously a troll so let us ignore him/her/it.
Idc if you believe that trans people are the gender they identify as. That's up to your own religious beliefs. HOWEVER: trans people are PEOPLE and DESERVE RESPECT AND KINDNESS. They have the right to do whatever they please with their own bodies and be treated how they want. It will not hurt you to address them how they wish (can negatively affect you to do the opposite as you miss the opportunity for that human connection). Same with all LGBTQ+
Anyway, compared to most of the western countries the USA is not a safe place to be in no matter what president's in office.

Women in Quebec were only given the right to vote in 1940
Load More Replies...I wonder where most of that misinformation came from? Could it be from Fox news?
No it comes from all media. Fox news is the most egregious but CNN and MSNBC are just as likely to sensationalize and focus on protestor misbehavior while deemphasizing or misreporting anything negative from authorities. A lot of big name reporters got their eyes opened the last year when they experienced the police's complete lack of regard for journalist immunity. Didn't stop the networks from focusing on "law and order" though. There's a reason why American's trust in journalism is at an all time low.
