If someone passes away and people start asking for things, to whom should it go? Case in point, my mom just passed away. I wanted to give her car to the cleaning gal who’s been with my mom for 14 years. She’s been riding the bus—40 minutes round trip. Single mom with two kids. Then my uncle asked to buy the car. To whom should it go?

It depends on whom it was left to. If it was left to you, then it is entirely up to you what you do with it. In the instance stated, I would start with 'needs'. Does your Uncle need the car? Does the cleaner need the car? Do you need either the car or the money from the sale? Then move to 'likes'. Do you like your uncle? Do you like the cleaner? Do you like the car? Personally, if I didn't want the car for myself, I'd give it to the cleaner.
