“In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks”

-John Muir

I came back, a week ago, from a trip to the northern areas of Pakistan. Although physically home, I felt like my soul was still entrapped in the vast beauty that my eyes saw.

Because I own a camera and have a knack for photography, I decided to freeze certain moments in my memory forever despite of my lack of expertise in photography. And like most of us, I love my homeland and want to show what truly describes Pakistan.

Following are the pictures, that I took on this trip. Any comments, guidance (regarding the photography) would be appreciated. All pictures are unedited. Hope you enjoy them!

My camera was a Nikon D3100 with kit (18-55mm) lens.

The staggering view from Babusar Top situated 4,173m above sea level.

The bold roads that lead to Fairy Point, a stop before the trek to Fairy Meadows.

The stream formed by the melting glaciers of Nanga Parbat.

The gritty local that scales mountains better than most adventurers.

Never been more happier with a picture I took.

The first view point on the way to Nanga Parbat base camp.
