I was taking my daily walk through Hawthorn in Melbourne and decided to have a look at the new Cricket Club Memorial that they had recently built out of bricks into the ground out front of the club house. Each brick had the name of a past player or friend who had generously supported the club since it was founded in 1947. I found this interesting and took a few snaps with my phone and realised later the wonderful affect of having my shadow cast solemnly over the monument in the photo had.
