The Couple Who Left Marketing To Build Garden Rooms Creates An Outdoor Office Unlike Any Other
We have previously shared our story about the garden storage room we had designed and built together from scratch back in 2017. Completing it changed our lives forever, as it was from that moment on that we decided to ditch our marketing business, to instead pursue our dream job of creating bespoke garden rooms. With every new paid project that came our way, we wanted keep pushing ourselves, and achieve greater heights.
For obvious reasons, 2020 was a very unusual and daunting period for many businesses. But for us, it was a crazy time in all the best ways, and it gave us a perfect opportunity to skyrocket. As more and more people were forced to work from home, many were after an alternative way to separate work from home, such as a garden office. And in the summer of that year, we began working on one of the most gorgeous garden offices in the UK.
Our client for this project was an international business lawyer, who cherished their impressive garden in East Grinstead, complete with a beautiful ornamental pond, and dozens of mature trees. He had been overseeing very complex cases with tonnes of paperwork. His dream garden office was one that truly mirrored the beauty of his garden. And looking back on these photos we took, we feel a great deal of pride towards what we feel is our biggest milestone so far!

This office fits like a glove into the natural beauty around it. We found the perfect spot for it, tucked behind the prized pond, and we feel that it really completes this amazing garden.
One Office to Rule Them All
The workspace within this garden building feels truly fit for somebody as prestigious as an international business lawyer. We have filled it with bespoke furniture that we designed ourselves, with the aim to make his workload as manageable as possible.
Picturesque Views
When sat at this desk, the bi-folding doors in front, along with the single glass doors at either end of the office, provide an unobstructed view to the wonderful garden, so that it is only one look up away from our client’s taxing job.
The Best Walk to Work in the World
We considered the clients journey to and from the office as well, which led us to create this 30 metre-long bridge that makes the clients short walk through his garden truly enjoyable, even in the colder and muddier months.
A Prized Office by a Prized Pond
Our client’s brilliant pond can be best seen from the decking area, just a few steps away from his desk. This decking area perfectly meets the bridge without the need for extra stairs.
Easy Access
If our client ever needed to bring something (like a lawnmower, for example) down to the garden from the office bridge, we have installed a retractable section for the bridge, leading directly down into the woodland area.
A Place to Unwind
This office provides a perfect marriage of business and pleasure. Beside the office is a peaceful outdoor seating area with a gorgeous Italian wallpaper backdrop, and the natural beauty of the garden in front

One of the more leisurely features would be the wall to the right of the desk, where our client has proudly displayed his impressive collection of guitars.
Simply Beautiful, Even After Work Hours
This office looks equally gorgeous when the sun goes down. The warm lighting we installed creates an inviting feel both inside and outside the office, and even extends across the bridge.
