Hi everyone! My name is Ernesto Parisi, and my passion is photography. It's my personal way to read the world, and during my free time, I always have my camera on my right hand.
If somebody would ever ask me why do I love photography so much, I would answer that in photography, the reality is so subtle that it becomes truer than reality itself.
During this last year, I've been taking pictures of redhead people all over Italy for the Melanoma Prevention Campaign of the Melanoma Foundation of Naples.
It has been proved that people with red hair suffer more from being exposed to the sun than people with other hair colors and darker skin.
This first part of the project has been realized in a studio, with a make-up artist, with a particular type of lights and absolutely no use of Photoshop for the post-production phase.
I wanted to emphasize the characteristics of beautiful women as naturally as possible. I'd like to put the focus on their natural beauty and rarity, shooting them in different environments combining the beautiful girls with the beauty of Italy. The book is also a weapon against the bullying that it's still so present and frequent for people with ginger hair in this society, so in love with conventional beauty standards.
I'll take a tour of the 20 Italian Regions, selecting 80 Italian women with red hair using the Italian nature and archeological treasures as background.

The money collected will only be used for the project, and all related expenses will be covered by crowdfunding. All the extra money collected with this campaign will be donated to the Melanoma Foundation for skin cancer research.
