Hommelvik is a small town north of Trondheim, Norway.

The tradition was started when a few buddies from the classic amcar club from Trondheim had a club meeting over a cup of coffee at the local cafe & restaurant in Hommelvik. Just a couple of classic American cars and bikes where present at the club meeting.

Over the years this little meeting between club members and friends have grown out of proportion. What started with a few cars have now grown too be over a hundred plus cars, 500-1000 people and the rather silent and calm town have been “invaded” with enthusiast for american cars and culture. Friends and family are together and we are having our own tribute to the american culture.

I thought the other pandas would enjoy reading this because it’s a quirky and strange thing to see in a small town in Norway. It is my home town and I have been living here for 29 years and I love this place to death.
