Wow I wondered what was wrong with this picture and wow now I get it. But I doubt it was done to purposely be offensive.
No this is cursed kill it with fire how many other people here think dora is evil and satanic
For those who don't understand why so many people don't like this, it's because Dora is a character with naturally brown skin. The illustration implies her natural skin colour is just a tan and she's actually white underneath.
@Cooter McCoughlin Absolutely not, and I don't see the connection! I see lots of little girls in little pink one- or two-piece bathing suits and it never shocked anyone! I really don't understand what's going on here ! A kid puts on whatever he wants, especially on the beach... 🤷♀️

Where's Invader Zim? Or Beavis and Butthead?! OR RICK SANCHEZ?!?!?! Man I really would've LOVED to see them getting a tan lol
Yeah, i know... But they'd just have classic tan lines. I decided to look for original ones :)
How about Bruce Wayne? Or Poison Ivy: because she's half plant, her tan lines would be green due to photosynthesis. Zatanna and Black Canary wear fishnets. What if Bizarro reverse-tans (like that picture of Alfred E. Neuman)? Different shades of green for the Martian Manhunter?
