When people are short they wish to be taller - but the people on this list, on the other hand, probably wish they could just take just a few inches off to make life simpler. Four hours is still really long to be that cramped. I'm only just under 6 ft 2in, but I've been to concerts where the seats are too close. Even two hours gets to be too much.

Many of those are made for wheelchair users, as some people pointed out. The rest are plain claustrophobia-causing, no matter how tall a person is. I think it's high time they realise that human population is getting taller and taller in some parts of the world. I mean, what century are those houses and showers?!

As a short person there are times I wish I was tall but then tall people probably wish sometimes they were short. Being tall would have an array or issues like what is pictured but then of course things like bad backs and necks from pressure and crouching all the time, bad knees from squatting or split pose etc.

cars, hotels etc. are perfect when you have between 1,60 and 1,80 m...A friend of mine is almost 2 m tall, in the early 90s he went to Japan and he had to struggle with the hotel beds, the height of the subway trains... and if his height was not enough , he has red hair, so you can imagine the situation - he was surrounded all the time by curious schoolkids :-)

I am not tall at all at 5'8" (172cm) tall, but considering that (a.) I'm a woman and (b.) my family were originally from Mexico (where they don't typically make 'em tall), I'm kinda an anomaly.

LOL I am a normal height 5'8" but I have a tall torso so when I am sitting next to my husband who is the same height when standing... I tower over him.... do hop-on-hop off bus tours and I have been known to get smacked in the head on teh top of the bus! And forget wearing dresses they never fit right because the waist is never in the right place.

When I complained to my 175cm daughter about the weird feeling of walking around Mexico City and feeling like a giant she said, "Yeah, but when you're on the metro, you're the only one who can breathe."

I guess i should be thankful to be above average at 180cm /5' 11". It's already a pain/claustrophobic for plane seating, sports cars and some business vans.

On the other side of things, I remember being in a public toilet in The Netherlands and having to stand on my tiptoes to use the urinal! I'm 1m75cm.

These highlight just how little tall people are accommodated in society. I'm 197 and resent paying for legroom in planes, bus seats that are too close, doorways too low... just a pain in the backside.

A lot of these are ideal pictures to showcase someone's height, it looks annoying. At 6'3 i'm tall but not mega tall, my mate is 6'10, he is a beast. Height doesn't mean anything except reaching high places and the top shelf of the cupboard, my missus is only 5'2 so i can feel manly and reach things she can't. Height is nothing, short people are just as successful and plenty of woman date short men, my mate is tiny and his missus is smoking. Dutch people are the tallest in the world on average, when i go there i feel short.

As a short individual there are times I want to be tall however then tall individuals likely wish once in a while they were short. Being tall would have a cluster or issues like what is envisioned yet then obviously things like terrible backs and necks from weight and hunkering http://www.9cashbox.com constantly, awful knees from crouching or split posture and so forth.
