Thanks for explaining the concept everyone. I wouldn't have got it otherwise, because it's not bleeding obvious or anything.
actually I get a totally different message from this - didn't even think about the fragility idea
Load More Replies...Took me a few tries before I realized I didn't have enough fingers...
I viewed it more as keeping people in. So long as you stay inside the confines, peace.
Load More Replies...I find this to be a clever juxtaposition. When you stop to think about the original American Gothic, now throw in Kim and Kanye, and you can't help thinking about the TV series... everything just became a lot more creepy and unpleasant.
It's an insult to hard working farmers and their equally hard working wives. These two are like cancerous growth , just feed off the workers.
Exactly the artists' point. O, the irony! :D

What does it matter what color the emoticon is, when the fall laves together are so beautiful. Is what I see. A comment on peoples' need to control and divide everything into understandable measures for frail minds. Is what I see. :D

True....so people are addicts to mcdonalds like porn addicts? Either way-it makes a good point how society has changed
if you knew of the original picture then you would see the differences and the similarities or what ties the past with the present
1st page was better, tailed off in the 2nd. Very nice work with messages and narrative through out. Word play and social commentary are always a winner
