The project, commissioned by Ambassadeur Art Gallery in Bournemouth, pulled together resident artists from the gallery, Iain Alexander and Dairo Vargas as well as Bournemouth’s infamous street artist, Miroslav Lucan. Students from the Arts University Bournemouth also helped create this giant painting which took a total of three days to complete after several months of planning.

The supersized superhero was unveiled to the public by the Mayor and Mayoress of Bournemouth who shook hands with Spider-Man as he arrived on the zip wire to finish the painting with a final flourish of the paintbrush.
