Step By Step Process Of My Oil Painting “I’m Insecure”

This is the step by step process of my painting, “I am insecure”. This is an oil painting. The technique that I usually use is color scheme technique. I do not know how to name it, hence I have this name. This name could be unconventional. The technique is I place the light, absence of light and shadow everywhere and then as the paint dries I smoothen the shadow, light and absence of light areas.

Day 1 – Rough sketch

Day 3 – Placement of subjects

Day 4 – Creating light & shadow in the painting (rough)

Day 5 – Did her towel & rack (on her right)

Day 6 – Refined all the subjects in the background

Day 7 – Refined window & the course of light there

Day 8 – Touched her skin in real & mirror

Day 10 – Finished oil painting

I swear I will upload the finished version of the artwork after I varnish and professionally photograph it
