Speed Drawing Challenge Asks Artists To Sketch In 10 Mins, 1 Min, And 10 Secs
Artists usually spend countless hours perfecting their illustrations, however Mark Crilley decided to challenge his fellow illustrators. The rules are simple - each The rules are simple - each has to pick a character and sketch it three times by hand in 10 minutes, 1 minute, and 10 seconds.
"Always fun to see how far you can push yourself and sometimes how fast you can push yourself," artist Jazza said. After he completed the challenge, Ubisoft's James Raiz (a.k. "The Box Office Artist") contributed with his three versions of Batman. "It is a little daunting looking at how fast the time can really go," James said. Wow!! I think even this 10 seconds pic would take me like 30 minutes and it would probably still look like a goat doodle. I see one minute pic and I think it must be almost done. But then there comes this 10 minutes pic which looks like from the comic book...unbelievable. So quick! I admire those skills! I would love to see a video.
