Designer Turns His Favorite Sneakers Into Works Of Art And The Attention To Detail Is Amazing
Phill Robson, perhaps, more widely known as Filfury, is a designer who has worked for giants like Nike Basketball, Adidas and Reebok.
In his spare time, this artist crafts unique 3D sculptures of animals and insects, or just random objects featuring textures of his favorite sneakers. Needless to say, these are truly marvelous works of art.

I really like most of these, but I do have one question. If they were his FAVORITE shoes as the title says, then why would he cut them up and turn them into art instead of wearing them?

It's confusingly worded in the intro (or is to me!). It says 'featuring textures of his favourite sneakers'. I think it must mean that as a designer of trainers this is the medium he knows and loves and so it is what he uses as the basis for his artwork. Not shoes that are already made that he then re-makes into art. He's just using the materials he would use to make shoes. Could be miles out though. Hope this makes sense - I'm very tired!!!

Very good. Normally i dont like when new material are in use 3D objects, some reason I favor shoes. contemporary sculpturing.

I love these 'sculptures' and the idea behind it. I was given an art research assignment for unconventional materials, Guess who's getting an A? Jk, but I love these pictures. You are one talented guy.
