I started to take pictures of my little sister Sasha when she was just few days old and never stopped since then.

I wasn’t living with my parents when she was born, so the bond that siblings usually have naturally, we had to create from scratch.

Do you know those cool big brothers and sisters who are coming for holidays and do different fun activities with their siblings ? Well, I wasn’t like that. I was an only child until my teenage years and always been pretty much an introvert, so I had no idea what am I supposed to do with a kid…

I was often in my corner observing her from far away as if she was some sort of alien creature but most of the time I just wanted to come towards her and give her a hug and a kiss but for some mysterious reasons I was unable to.

My comfort zone was my camera, whenever I had it in my arms I felt like I could finally interact with my sister and tell a story.

She figured very early how to connect with me through the lens and got super comfortable in front of the camera. She opened up her soul and let me see her magical secret world.

I captured every year of her growth, that became precious memories ; we started to create different universes and ambiences together, having fun, enjoying each other’s company.

She grew up as a model and muse in front of my eyes, and I evolved as a photographer and changed thanks to her patience and commitment into a more present and loving sister. She is one of my favorite human beings on Earth and a person I feel the closest to, even when we are far apart.
